There are certain things in life that, once you find, everything else pales in comparison. CLIENTEL3 (C3) has quickly become one of those things for me. Movement of any kind has always been important to me, as much for the physical benefits as for a means of getting out of my own head. Most recently, I've been all over the damn place at random classes - everything from SolidCore to hot yoga to spinning. While I still like my ClassPass, I felt I'd hit a plateau with any real progress and wanted something with more intention. A Google search led me to C3 and I haven't looked back since. There are a million things I love about C3. Here are my top three: --- The trainers are exceptional. Each has their own unique background and way of doing things and I can't think of better people to spend 6am sessions with. --- I crave variety and C3 delivers. On any given day, I might be working on my pullup progressions, mobility training, or Wing Chun (a form of Kung Fu). (Hot tip: ask about Spy School, a Natural Movement-based foundations class). --- The community - you get a sense that everyone genuinely cares about you and listens to your goals and interests here. Trainers Addison, Alex, Kaylee, and Maura will absolutely challenge you to your core and beyond what you thought you were capable of, but you're going to have a lot of fun and gain a lot of confidence doing it. Massively grateful to Chi for creating the gym space I didn't know I was looking for. This place truly is a gem in the Boston area (or anywhere, really) and well worth the investment in yourself. Physical therapy: I've been working with Ogbonnaya Chikezie at Clientel3 since September 2024 to overcome a chronic shoulder injury, and I can't recommend him highly enough. His knowledge and experience are evident. He applies his science-based expertise of physical therapy with a well-developed understanding of integrative medical arts to build a highly personalized program for me. My case has been difficult and I have, at times, been skeptical about my own progress. Not Ogbonnaya. Always encouraging and always motivating, he has never given up on me. Upbeat and positive, he has made my sessions fun and productive. Because of him, I have not given up on myself. He is very flexible in his methods and has adapted my treatment plan several times when I suffered set backs. He is also collaborative, consulting with Chi, the owner of Clientel3--who is simultaneously helping me with strength training--to ensure my physical therapy and fitness programs are consistent and coordinated for my best recovery. Ogbonnaya has been incredibly accommodating, offering both virtual and in-person sessions, and adjusting his schedule, sometimes with little notice--a support I've deeply appreciated as a busy working mom. When I started working with Ogbonnaya I was in a lot of pain in my shoulder and upper back, but now I feel stronger, more flexible, and almost entirely pain-free. I have been training with C3 for a bit now and have already seen great results in my conditioning and strength. I love that the workouts are very varied, fast-paced, full body, and have a lot of complex movements and it's fun to have multiple trainers with different workout types. When I first started going to C3 I wasn't sure what results to expect, I was motivated but hadn't ever had a real coach before. Fast-forward to three months in and I realized how much progress I'd made with their help. I was at a soccer game where most of my team was talking about how tired they are and all I could think was, "Man this was like 1/5 of a session with Alex (one of the C3 coaches) at best". TL;DR: Lost 5-6+ Pounds of Fat / ~2%+ Body Fat in less than a month; highly recommend Clientel3. Last year, I made a commitment to improving my health. I was 28 years old and in the worst shape of my life, approximately 32% body fat at 210 lbs. I worked my tail off to lose about 10% body fat, but my weight stalled in the 190s. I hit a plateau about 6 months ago and I couldn't get out of it. I tried personal trainers at big box gyms like lifetime, etc. It didn't work. My workouts became complicated, I didn't understand why I was doing certain things and they didn't help get my eating under control. I also found it ridiculous that so many of those personal trainers were out of shape as well. How could I possibly take them seriously? To make matters worse, I broke my hand in October, so I became lazy and unmotivated. Then, in December, I decided I had to make a change and I needed serious, professional help. I did my search and found Clientel3. My first impression was that they looked legit. Experienced team, people were in shape, great reviews, etc etc. I think the only hesitancy was the expense - it's $100+ per session. However, when you look at the grand scheme of life, your health is absolutely worth it. A true professional should help you achieve your goals in a more efficient manner. Unfortunately, many of those big box gyms like Lifetime don't like to be accountable for helping you reach your goals. You have to factor this into your decision making process. Those gyms charge $125+ per hour, so it's not a huge difference in expense. With these factors in mind, I still considered delaying the initial assessment until the New Year as a "resolution", but decided against that. I'm happy I did that. The assessment was with Justin and we hit it off. He's knowledgeable, hilarious, compassionate and supremely goal-oriented. He understood the adjustments I needed (with my broken hand), incorporated my preferences (basketball) and my personal goals (15% Body Fat). More specifically, he created a plan to help me reach those goals. What I didn't realize? It's an amazing community. The biggest difference between other gyms versus Clientel3 is that the entire staff becomes your support system. Seriously. Every single trainer gets to know you, understands your goals, cheers you on, and helps train you (if need be). So, if Justin isn't available on Thursday, don't worry...Patrick is and he's just as bad ass. Leading the entire team is Chi, the owner whose trained athletes and other professionals, and he's like the "Zen Master" who built this family-like atmosphere. I really appreciate it and I didn't realize how valuable that would be. Getting in shape is hard, so you need all the help you can get. I can just text them any time and it's awesome. What are my results? Numbers prior to Clientel3: 194 lbs, ~21% Body Fat Training Schedule: 2 x per week with Clientel3; play basketball 2 x per week on my own; train 2 x per week with a take-home plan from Justin; 1 x per week nutrition consulting with Patrick. Last weigh-in (4 weeks later): 188 lbs, ~19% Body Fat Goals: 15% Body Fat by April I'm on my way to achieving that goal and couldn't do it without them. I am going to cut down the in-person training sessions due to my schedule, but I'm confident. They hold me accountable and that's exactly what I need. Any additional thoughts? Workouts are completely customized to my body and needs. They are exhausting, but efficient. I enjoy them and it works. I just began nutrition training and so far so good. I have some bad days, but I'm more aware of my water consumption, caloric intake, and have committed to meal prepping. Patrick is the man and I'll post updates on my results soon. I'm the type of person who overthinks and gets stuck with paralysis by analysis. With Clientel3, I stopped that behavior. I just listen to what they tell me to do and it works. C3 has helped me accomplish so many of my fitness and wellness goals with great personal training and a regimen tailored to what I want. Unlike many other gyms I've trained at, my C3 trainer is a great resource for answering any questions I have outside of our scheduled sessions about my diet and other forms of training.When some of my fitness goals changed my trainer quickly shifted our regimen to match what I wanted. I really wanted to give them a good review. However participating in the 6 week challenge was a big mistake for me. Fastest way I have lost $600 in my life. They hand you a generic meal plan, which there is no way to prove that it will help you lose weight or body fat. They don't give you the copy of the contract and conveniently do not mention that you have to lose X% body fat to 'win' the challenge. Instead have stipulations like online check ins etc to max their publicity as a PR stunt. The only good thing here are the instructors who are very knowledgeable , very hardworking and encouraging. I have done personal training at other gyms and never got the results that I was hoping for. Since coming to CLIENTEL3 I am finally building muscle and losing fat. I have only good things to say about my experience at Clientel3. It's been an investment, for sure, but hands down one of the best I have ever made. The training is highly personalized, following a thorough fitness evaluation and a discussion of goals. Whatever your level of fitness (I was a cardio queen who could barely do three pushups when I started), you will feel welcomed and supported. And you will experience real (visible + measurable) results that will inspire you to keep up the good work. I honestly only planned to train here for three months, but now I can't imagine leaving. The C3 team has become a bit of an extended family - I'd come in every day if I could afford it. When i left the the challenge i was a little dissapointed. I felt like i failed. I wanted so bad to loose the weight and beat the challenge. I realized and even knew beforehand 20 lbs is A Lot of weight to loose in 6 weeks with normal maintanable weight loss being 1 to 2 pounds weekly. During the challenge I worked out 3 days at clientele, 4 days at my regular gym and not seeing much weight loss but noticing and feeling the shrinking process of my hard work. i feel like my hard work was being measured incorrectly which in turn made me feel like a failure because i was not seeing the pounds drop as expected and instead was seeing a fat and inches loss instead of a pound loss. Which in turn made me feel better about myself and my hardwork. (These are different things when lifting weights and not having cardio based workouts. Like hiit bootcamps do.) I used the challenge as an opportunity to workout at clientel cause quite frankly i knew i could not afford to workout there other wise . Anyways i continue today 3 weeks later, using the meal plan i felt best fit me and im seeing weight loss and muscle definition and im grateful for the opportunity and the reset in my errors of eating. i left with new exercises i use at the gym and feel better about my progress that continues way past the challenge. The challenge was just the right push i needed and im grateful. The staff is knowledgeable and wanted us to succeed. I am succeeding but at my own pace. Today i weighed myself this morning and i was surprised. Since i left the challenge ive lost 5 more pounds in 3 weeks. Total 9 pounds. Which is normal and healthy and makes me feel fabulous. What bogs me is only loosing 4 lbs during the challenge. I did follow the meal plan guidlines. Maybe my body had to detox and reset me for continued weightloss. As Chi said, Every Body is different. The challenge was an ambitious goal from the start. Im not sure how many people were actually succesful because those results were not published for us to see and even my own pictures and results have been kept from me even though i asked for them and was told they were working on it and then a post said that we needed to write a review in order to get them. Which i feel like i paid for given i didnt technically win the challenge my money was kept so that didnt make for a good ending. There were certain things along the way that i felt could have been better. The classes had large class sizes. 1 trainer running large classes when we started with two. Too much weight lifting not enough high intensity exercises. This is not a bootcamp gym, its a boutique personal training studio. I thought i was going to recieve more personal type training but got bootcamp style that left something to be desired for weight loss goals. In conclusion, i had fun with the whole experience. Anyways. I hope everyone is still making progress and feeling better after the challenge and are using what they learned and gathered to continue on their fitness goals. :) read more

I get married this October and it was the perfect time to kickstart my workout and diet routine. I had some knowledge on what I had to do but I needed structure and something tailored to ME. I'm also the type that I need someone to tell me exactly what to do so I know I'm not wasting any time and energy on my efforts. I needed to make sure I would reach my goal by the deadline. They helped me with all of the above. I reached out to Chi to help me and he did a sobering body fat test on me and we went over a tailored diet and he linked me up with Craig for my exercise routine. That was in June. Two months later I have lost 10 pounds and am in the best shape I've probably ever been in. They are both very targeted and motivating and knowledgeable. I recently participated in a 6 weeks challenge at Chi Bang Bodies. And it was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! The trainers were very motivated and made working out super fun. The reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 was because there was a lack of communication and organization at Chi Bang Bodies between the staffs. I'm not sure if it's because they took on too many challengers that's why they were disorganized. Also not all staff members were told the same information. One staff would say one thing but another staff another thing. All in all the experience was great with classes and workouts. But needs improvement on communication and organization. read more

Over the course of the last 3+ months of working with Vuong and the rest of the team at Chi Bang Bodies, I've come to understand that as a company Chi Bang Bodies takes a unique and practical approach to fitness and health that separates them from their competitors, and training with Vuong has been an unfailingly rewarding experience. Fantastic group. I love having full access to both male and female trainers. I KNEW this is the place I wanted to workout when I first stopped by to check out the facility and saw Laura (GM/Trainer who will actually remove your old butt, throw it in the trash, and fasten on a brand new one ) My first impression was #omfg #bootygoals #shouldergoals to the max- this girl knows what she is doing, and whatever that is.. I want to do it too! So that factor alone sold me.. and I couldn't be happier with that decision. Meeting and working with all the other trainers only further reinforced that. Everyone is crazy fit, extremely knowledgeable and well-educated. After 6 weeks here, I have lost 3% bodyfat (23.7 to 20) am beginning to see some abdominal definition and have gained a huge amount of mental stamina. The gym is super fun to work out in, vibes are always positive, the trainers are extremely attentive and present which is so so so important to me. After an awesome and disciplined 6 week challenge, I feel like I've learned so much from Chi Bang Bodies at CLIENTEL3! The trainers were super awesome, fun and knowledgeable about how to work the muscles and making sure you're actually working them properly. I've never had a taste for weighted workouts because I distract myself butttt at 6 weeks of x3 weight and body sculpting classes I feel much better about doing on my own and getting many rounds done. Did I mention I learned a whole lot about portion sizes and a more balanced meal (carbs, proteins, veggies and fats)? With the personalized meal plan, I feel like I have the proper tools to create a balanced diet that works for me and a plan when I need to be a little more strict for a performance or something. The past 6 weeks have really been about me learning more about my discipline skills and I couldn't have done it successfully without Chi Bang Bodies!!! read more

I participated in a challenging 6 Week Fitness Challenge with Chi Bang Bodies. The staff, Denise, Yen, Laura, Carol, Justin, Patrick, Matt, & my ChiMonster Chi, are all fantastic people who like myself, are humans. For 6 Weeks, they dedicated themselves to approx. 80 strangers of all shapes, sizes, and fitness levels and I appreciate their commitment to myself and everyone else that participated. Upon my initial conversation with Laura, I asked questions that she was not afraid to answer and gave me honest answers that coincided with the information obtained at my initial interview with Yen. I was lucky enough to meet Carol during my interview & fell in love with her body, I was like, damn, I need to be trained by her.....LOL My 1st class was tough but I almost died during my 2nd class, not really, but I did feel like I was going to puke...TMI, I know. Anyhow, I yearned for more and loved the variations of exercises in each class. I learned proper form, exercises that I can do on my own at the gym or even at home. Best of all, I learned how to determine what and how different foods benefit me and my #chibangbodygoals. I didn't give the 5th star because in the very beginning, I felt a little uncomfortable to inquire more in depth information regarding my individual meal plan. However, I am a vegetarian and was really limited with my options, so that made life a little more difficult for me. If I wanted to lose the 20lbs in 6 weeks, I had to make sacrifices AND those sacrifices definitely made a difference in how I looked and felt. I was motivated by the staff during fitness sessions, within our Secret FB page, & surprisingly..... while I was on my overseas Holiday Vacation. My only regret is that I cannot afford to continue to workout with them but I would recommend ChiBangBodies to anyone looking to make some REAL LIFESTYLE CHANGES. I also met some really cool people that I hope to continue a good friendship with. Everyday I think about them and pray that I can still make them proud.....BOOM!!!!!! read more
