Love the creaminess of its ice cream yet not too sweet compare to ice creams that I've had in the country where I live, Canada. The back patio's scenery of Maas river was so calming. Watching the view boats or ships go by as this Maas River connected the Netherlands and Germany. Due to its location where it's very closed to Germany's border, I noticed lots customers speak German. This Clevers in Arcen was actually the second location of Clevers that I visited in the NL. First was the one in Overloon, Noord Brabant province. I'll definitely be back to this location when I visit the Netherlands again. Yummy ice cream and great ambience!

They're not really flavors at all, more like toppings. Whatever flavor I get is what I expect the ice cream itself to taste like, not what a few sparse chunks taste like. What I like to do is ask to try 2 flavors each time, then get the one I like more out of the 2. It's a nice way to eventually try out every flavor. One thing I'll give them extra kudos for is the lovely interior decor. I don't know exactly when it happened, but at some point they remodeled the place. It's basically a pink paradise now. I love it! P.S. The address on Yelp for this location is currently wrong. Luckily it's just one block over. Check the website for the correct address. P.P.S. De smaken van het ijs en de gebakjes waren duidelijk vers en origineel, met verrassende combinaties die goed werkten. De sfeer was vrolijk en kleurrijk, perfect voor gezinnen. Personeel vriendelijk, geduldig en goed met kinderen. Alles zag er schoon en verzorgd uit, van de toonbank tot de tafels. Een ijssalon waar iedereen blij weggaat -- groot én klein.

Enough to explore and been torn between this and that. Keep in mind that you can probably get everything vegan friendly. I had a blueberry waffle and 3 scoops of ice cream. Avocado, Snikkas and pistachio. Avocado was just creamy and wonderful. My favorite for sure. The waffle I got actually had an accident but to me it actually made the waffle looking less boring. The waffle usually isn't served as seen in my photo and I haven't touched it before taking the picture. As for the taste I think the blueberry taste could be more intense and aromatic but the waffle made with vegan dough still was fine. Crispy most of the time with some soft pieces in between. SERVICE The staff at the front who worked here during my visit were chill and very nice. Plus they were all female and very pretty if that is a plus for you. ATMOSPHERE Stylish, cozy and modern. RATING This is again another amazing spot for ice cream in Bochum. Highly recommended.

Playing in the background is a mixture of new funk and hip hop, but not so loudly that you have to scream at your table mates. And the homemade waffle cones hold up to the slower ice cream eaters like me. I had the Schoko Sorbet and the Snikka....yes, I've found God and She lives here and is very happy.
