I can name ( but won't out of courtesy) at least 8-9 treatment centers in nearby cities over the past years that not only took our money and insurance money willingly but failed miserably to identify and treat her mental illness condition, which drives her addiction. As a parent with years of experience in the war for my daughter's life, the faith-based approach and expertise exhibited by JC's Recovery Center is the only one who is making a difference. I have been to the center and met all the staff therapists and the owner, and all have been working with our daughter personally. I can tell you ( not assume) that they are the ones who have gotten serious with their faith-based approach and focus on mental illness and addiction treatment that has been able to save her life. Finally, this is an answer to our prayers, and we have identified what we believe is the key to helping our daughter fight back by building her self-esteem, faith, and firm support. None of this existed in the bad treatment centers previously other than one located in central Florida and one in Parkland near Wray and they were very familiar with the work of JCs and its success stories, so it was logical when we obtained objective information from several credible sources that this was the next step. Before that, there were ones skilled in taking, money, failing the client's needs, stressing out the family, and even dealing drugs while painting a picture of success when it was only failure. Anyone has a right to their opinion, but examine the facts, not the fiction. The decision is yours as a parent, but we have had enough of some of the treatment centers I won't bother to name in nearby cities that should be shut down. Last week's visit to JCs to see her was the evidence we needed to know our daughter is finally in a safe place.

About me, I suffer with chronic pain due to football, as well as Marine corps injuries and 2 really violent MVA. Multiple herniated discs in cervical area as well as lumbar and a total disc failure in L5 and SI joint pain. In dealing with the fallout from these injuries I've had 6 epidurals as well as 3 RFA procedures. I've also had 9 surgeries over the last few yrs including SI joint fusion. Needless to say I know a lot about being uncomfortable and I invest a lot of time every day in trying to rid myself of the burden of pain. My wife just had our first baby so I very much wish to be physically active late in life. To accomplish this I am very proactive in my well-being. I live a vegan lifestyle & am up at 0400 every morning to do my stretching, meditation, rehab exercises, inversion therapy, hot baths, theragun, and core strengthening. I put in intense work on myself so the professional healers have a chance at being successful in their job. I've been through a lot of chiropractors and physical therapists over the last 15 yrs some of which were good, & some not so great. My entire experience so far with All broward chiro has been excellent. The 2 instances when I had a scheduled appointment there was zero wait. There have been two more sessions where the scheduler was able to fit me in last minute. Flexibility with schedule is important to me because my pain levels shoot from "3-4" to a "7-8" very quick and to have the possibility to be seen when not scheduled is a huge plus. Either way, the entire staff is pleasant & seem to enjoy being at work. All BrowardChiro has a variety of health services and all were high quality; from the massage to heat/Stim to decompress, all were top notch. The two services I've found most effective are the deep stretching and the adjustment itself. The stretch is done by Nick who is as good at his job as I've come by. I am 6'5 -217lbs & not ez to move around but the pain relief I feel after his stretch is tremendous. I would visit this practice just for the stretch. Then comes the adjustment and Dr.Mike is strong and sure in his manipulations, which is important as my body has endured significant trauma. His adjustment table is automatic so you stand up and the table lays you down without physical effort. This is extremely thoughtful to someone who has pain when changing from any one position to another. Once you're laying flat and he begins, his adjustment is no nonsense and precise. As high level care as I've received anywhere else. The office and restrooms are clean and clean water is available in the waiting room which is another big plus because I drink a ton of water and don't have to bring my water bottle into the office. If you're in pain and want the strongest possible chance at recovery I strongly recommend giving All Broward chiropractic a chance

My surgeon recommended this office to me as the best choice for a tough situation - once for a locked elbow following nerve surgery, and once for rehabilitation after a dog attack and subsequent surgery on my hand. The team at Florida Hand Therapy saved my dominant arm twice. Without their care, I don't know that I could have recovered. Unethical, Unprofessional, and Unacceptable Experience…read more Our family had an extremely distressing experience with Broward Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. My grandmother, who has Alzheimer's, was admitted for long-term memory care. Within 48 hours, the facility abruptly and unprofessionally discharged her without proper assessment, communication, or discharge planning. The community liaison (Richard) contacted my mother--her legal guardian--in a frantic and disrespectful manner, demanding that she "come remove her mother from the building" and blaming her presence for "messing up his reputation." Shortly after, my grandmother was sent to the hospital without notifying the family in advance, and we were later told she had been discharged from the facility entirely. This is not just poor customer service--it borders on patient abandonment and reflects a complete lack of compassion, ethics, and professionalism. No 30-day notice was given, no medical records were reviewed before admission, and verbal agreements made by the facility's leadership were not honored. We've since filed a formal complaint with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), CMS, and the Long-Term Care Ombudsman. If you're considering this facility for a loved one--especially one with memory care needs--I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. -- Yvette F.

He complained to councilors something was wrong, they told him to go lay down in that dark room. This place was dirty, his bed had sand in, it was nothing but a dirty half way house. This place is a joke!! If you love your family member DO NOT send them here!!
