We ordered the double cheese burger (comes with meat chili, onions, cheese and mustard) and one double hamburger with lettuce tomato onion. The double burgers were 1/2 pound. We also ordered some house made coleslaw. We sat at the one booth and we served very quickly. Our burgers were really good, the burger itself tasted good. The coleslaw was also a big win. We had 2 double burgers, coleslaws and 2 fountain drinks for 22$, great value and great taste. It is a true locals place run by a family. The family pictures on the wall and everyone coming in seems to know the staff. They have a drive through which also keeps them busy. It is not a fancy place but has a family lunch counter vibe. Well worth our detour off the interstate.

Its proximity close to RDU makes it an appealing place to hang out while you wait to pick someone up from their flight, or grab a bite if you are flying home late. They also have monitors that track all of the flights, pretty neat in my opinion. The rest of the building is just a nice gas station, tons of snack options, drinks you've never heard of, and pure vibes. What is not to love about this place?
