I paid them extra for next day shipping. When Royal Mail didn't deliver the next day - I was owed a refund for the shipping according to royal mail's own terms of service. Clermont Direct informed me that I should file the claim myself, even though the claim has to be filed by the shipper. When I informed them and they would have to file the claim, they told me that it wasn't worth their time to do so, and they also refused to refund me the 1-day shipping which I never received.
Extremely poor customer service. I contacted the Citizen's Advice consumer service who informed me that Clermont Direct are most definitely in the wrong - but Clermont Direct do not care and just ignore. read more
