While the team at Clemson Eye is polite and professional, they were unquestionably incapable of accurately completing a prescription. I went to the office for routine annual contact check, left the office with script #1 - Completely wrong. Called the office and they admitted to the error, and issued script #2 - Wrong contact vendor. Now almost 60 days post visit still working with their automated system to get a correct script. Bottom line...suggest alternative unless you plan to QA/QC your script and have the time to play the game. read more

Have used this practice for several years. It's just okay but in my plan so I have stayed. However this past visit I also had my lenses changed. I wear progressive glasses. This is the first pair after at least 20 years of wearing progressive that I can see the markings on the lenses. The markings are obstructing my vision so these new glasses are horrible. I will never fill a prescription for glasses with them again. And of course I paid a lot for them. I'll return for my check ups but it's a hard no on product. read more

Half an hour. My wife is trying to make a payment by phone for over half an hour. She's been number 2 in the queue the entire time. We were at Clemson Eye the other day, and tried to pay, but EVEN THOUGH you have to use a kiosk to check in, they said they were too busy checking people in to take her payment! Now, they did take the time to call her today and tell her if she did make this tiny payment TODAY, they would cancel her cataract surgery. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. As many people as there are at the front desk they never answer the phone. IT is very difficult to get a hold of a person and close to impossible at times. All you can do is leave a VM message and pray they get to it soon. When you go to the office you are however greeted and attended to immediately. There has to be a more efficient way to answer the phones. The glasses we ordered about 2 weeks ago are not yet ready. There has to be a better Vendor of which they send the glasses to. If the vendor does not meet the needs of the customer it reflects badly to Clemson Eye as that is what people would recognize when they ordered their glasses. They do not know that it a whole different business and vendor within the office. Customer Service needs to be paramount and should be one of the top goals of Clemson Eye of which they are failing miserably. Hope they improve this soon. read more

We're happy with the experience I had here at Clemson Eye in Simpsonville. We were usually seen at our appointment times, staff were friendly and helpful, physicians were excellent. My vision after cataract surgery is terrific! Our only complaint is the HUGE cost of the name brand drops prescribed when a similar, generic is available for a fraction of the cost. read more

I have been here a few times and each time is a horrible experience. Rude staff at front desk. They cancel your appt which was made weeks in advance, the day of and say "oh well. Dr took vacation" Then I guess you guys figure out what to do with Dr. Last Min Vacation's patients!! I had to schedule time off from work for that appt. They could not care less. The dr pushes you out as quickly as possible. I feel like a complete burden every single time I go. It's not one person it's the culture fostered there. They are like a "bad credit" used car dealership (only worse). They make Aspen Dental look legit (which they are not). Clemson Eye hires the least personable staff on the planet and charges exorbitant fees for everything. There is NOTHING that is a courtesy - not even sending an electronic document (push of a button) - $25. We won't even discuss wait times. They don't value or respect their customer's time. They move you from one waiting room to another. AVOID !!!!!!! read more

I don't know why I stayed with this provider. Every-time I have an appointment, I arrive in time, but wait and wait. The receptionists do not greet people with a smile or even bother to say good morning. They don't realize that the patients are the revenue for this business . This place is like Big Pharma!! You can't hardly get a human on the phone to even make an appointment, and when you finally do, don't expect to be able to make an appointment with a dr of your choosing. I tried to do so with two different drs at two different locations that I had seen before, only to be told they wouldn't see me again for the same problem. Huh? I guess they were saving THOSE drs for more expensive procedures! I asked to speak to the manager of the call center and she was quite rude and insistent that I could go with who they wanted to set me up with or go elsewhere. If you enjoy bureaucratic, assembly line medical care, then folks, this place is for you; dreadful! Oh they're efficient, putting you through the rigors, dragging you to seemingly endless stations (ie from one exam room to infinite exam room), treating the individual like cattle with no true individual care. At both locations, I've been rushed through, treated like a number and sent about my way - all of course after they make sure to receive their payment/bottom line. Both doctors I've encountered in their two current locations were both matter-of-fact, impersonal, didn't leave time for questions and rushed through my small moment of time with them to get to their next steer, I mean patient (got to keep that wagon train-a-movin'!). I'd wager there are many, more suitable options out here in Greenville. I would suggest finding a smaller, mom & pop-type optical office where they value your time, concerns and money. Honestly, both of these locations are big box type institutions, truly the pits if you're looking for an above standard of care/experience. I'm currently perusing Yelp for better, future options for my needs. I hope this helps anyone out there. read more

My wife had an appointment today with Dr. Bopp. This was her second appointment and was returning because her contacts as well as her glasses were giving her trouble and she wanted to find out what was going on. Dr. Bopp was horrible. She asked to see the prescription she had filled and then proceeded to berate my wife as to how she had gotten that prescription and that it wasn't the correct one and she shouldn't have that one. But the was the prescription that my wife was given by them yet Dr. Bopp continued to blame my wife for the issue, as if we could some how have gotten an incorrect prescription through our own actions. Not only this but anytime my wife tried to talk Dr. Bopp would interrupt and my wife wasn't even able to get out that her glasses were giving her trouble as well. My wife left incredibly upset and with no issues solved. Whatever issues this doctor has do not need to be taken Out on her patients. I in no way shape or form recommend this place and sincerely hope they hire a new doctor that actually can be bothered to have some kind of decency towards paying customers read more

Saw Dr' Sara Bopp on 4/13 and was issued the wrong prescription for my glasses. Called to speak with the doctor and wasn't able to. I had to go to the office to find out that I need to make another appointment with dr. Sara Bopp again!!! Made the appointment and had to wait again in the lobby, then the room, then to waiting room and then the Dr. Sara still not available. Dr. Sara didn't have the decency to see me!!! They read my old prescription from my old glasses and gave me the prescription. Dr. Sara showed no CARE for clients nor Clemson eye. Wasted so much time for a simple exam. I don't appreciate Clemson eyes hiring a no care doctor and no care for clients. Be aware of who you dealing with. read more
