They are very concerned about your ability to hear and what's going on in your life that may cause you difficulty with your hearing loss. They set my hearing aids so that I could hear well in church, in restaurants, watching TV, and seeing musical at the Peace Center. I no longer irritate everyone with my level of volume. I have an inner ear progressive disease, so I basically went clinically deaf at a young age. So, throughout my lifetime, I've had many hearing aid specialists, audiologists, etc. Therefore, I can confidently say that Dr. Jackson, it's like no other. A waste of time and money! I arrived early for my appointment and had to wait an hour to be seen…read more I was brought into a screening room (?) where the technician profusely apologized for taking so long to see me. She kept saying "it's circumstances" "been a weird day" just bad circumstances. Finally I was taken to a procedure room where the NP(?) vacuumed out my ears. I had that procedure done many times before and it always took longer than she took. She also explained they double book on Friday's as it is a short day for them. When I got back home a lump of wax fell out of my ear and then the next morning when I cleaned my ears in the shower the washcloth came out as dirty as it did before my ears were "professionally" cleaned. A terrible experience and to reiterate.....a waste of time and money.
