Trying to talk to a billing person was very difficult. Was left a message about a bill. I already paid and to call back a certain number. That mailbox was filled! It took me 20 minutes to talk to a person and of course they did not have the information available. I will never ever go back to this practice again. Whereas the clinical staff was fine, their billing department leaves much to be desired especially if you have already paid a bill. Went for a 5 minute appointment, waited almost 2 hours, this happened twice now. They need to get a better handle on their scheduling.

Hubby had his cataracts removed and new lens inserted. The care was excellent and his eyes are so good that he doesn't need glasses.

Wait time was too long. When checking out found ta=hat the person checking me out was clueless. I was surprised that they now separate the fee for a written prescription. $70! Crazy, be aware medicare or advantage does not pay for this. It should have been more transparent upfront read more

DO NOT be late! Coming from a clients I encountered a traffic accident and was held. Called the location and was told there is a 15 minute "grace period ". I arrived 18 minutes late and they canceled my appointment, but not until they had me fill out all my intake paperwork. That cost me 2 hours PTO. They don't need any new clients, nor do they treat the existing ones well. read more

BE WARNED - VERY INCONVENIENT AND POOR SERVICE I am new to the area and went here for the first time. I met with 6 people on staff and only 2 of the 6 had a friendly attitude which I found unusual for SC. The doctor, however, was very nice. They had computer problems and could not accept cards so would only accept cash or check or you could not get your prescription. My eyes had been unexpectedly dilated and no one offered me sun protection on my departure. Also, the optical dept was unfriendly and did not have the trial lenses in stock. They would not give me my contact prescription, even though I had paid in full, until I could test out the trial pair. I was told they would contact me when the trial pair came in. They never called me. I had to call them and find out that they had arrived. Still would not give me my prescription so now I have missed my 20% discount from my provider. All in all I would not recommend this place. TOO MUCH HASSLE and not courteous enough. UPDATE: now having to make my THIRD TRIP to their office to get the contact lens prescription I paid for 2 1/2 weeks ago because they have policy of not emailing prescription due to lack of them NOT having a secure server. read more

I have no issues with the doctor or the staff in general, but whoever is doing scheduling needs to be nicer on the phone. I called to reschedule an appointment because the doctor was going to be out of town on my original appointment date and I received a voicemail to call and reschedule. After going back and forth with some possible dates and times, the woman I was talking to on the phone scheduled a time for me and my son to come in. However, toward the end of the phone call I realized she scheduled me for the earlier time slot and my son for the later time slot and I asked if she could switch them so that I would not have to leave work early. Instead of being cooperative, she said,"but I've already scheduled them."(with an attitude/tone). She acted like it was an inconvenience for her to do her job. I felt like she was rude from this point forward even though I was trying to be nice about it. They definitely need to give them some better training or make sure they watch their tone with customers. read more
