She's kind, professional, courteous, patient and actually allows the parent to fulfill the parental role of taking charge of their children's health and well being. It's obvious she believes her role is to guide and support the parent, not dictate and overrule. She is highly educated and explains things clearly so the parent can make the best choice possible for their child. We are so glad to have found her!

I was naturally upset since I had to take off work & while talking to Rusty about it he told me to go to urgent care if my son was "really that sick" & when I told him I was there right now, couldn't they just fit me in, he told me to "just leave instead of standing there talking to him like an idiot"! WHAT???? I was just called an idiot by the MANAGER of this office. Worst experience EVER. Too bad the Dr.'s can't get support staff that reflects the bedside manner because it's usually great. We were a bit hesitant about going to a new doctor as our daughter was only 2 weeks old at the time. She's now a spunky 2 year old, we have another daughter (11 months old) and a baby boy on the way and we couldn't be happier about Dr. Brown and her staff caring for our children. Dr. Brown is down-to-earth, patient and PHENOMENAL with both parents and children. I never feel like she's in a rush to see the next patient as she always answers my questions (and I usually have lots) fully and with care and concern. A prime example of who Dr. Brown is can be seen with this; my husband is a stay-at-home dad and he took both girls to our 2 year old's check up this week. At the end of the appointment he needed to get her dressed but, as you can imagine, our 11 month old wanted attention. Dr. Brown patiently (and without any reservation or hesitation) picked her up and carried her to her desk so my husband could get our other daughter ready to leave. She amazing. Dr. Brown's office and nursing staff are equally as wonderful. If you are looking for a pediatrician I truly can't recommend Dr. Brown and Ennis Pediatric enough.

Dr. Sharma is possibly the worst doctor my daughter has ever seen. He is rude and very…read morecondescending. During one incident he told me that my daughter did not have pneumonia even though she had complained of respiratory symptoms and had experienced a high fever for several days. When she did not get better, I returned to his facility and demanded that he do an x-ray of her chest. That is when it was discovered that she did have pneumonia after all. I was a fool to keep my daughter at this facility. I have had many issues with him and his staff since then. I admit that I can be a helicopter mom. However, I will always advocate for my child no matter what. After standing up for her this last week, I was issued a letter stating that he no longer wanted my daughter to be his patient. In my opinion, a pediatrician should work with and listen to the parents to come up with a plan of care for their child. I found that Dr. Sharma was not willing to listen to my concerns as a parent and that is why I do not recommend Dr. Sharma as a pediatrician to any parents who love their child.
