After looking around the shop for about 20 minutes I found two things that I felt might be appropriate. At the checkout counter, I asked her if she had any tips for propagating the plant(s) into cuttings. She again simply said no. And I asked her why, and she said that she has never had success propagating plants. So I declined to purchase anything from her shop. To me as the owner of a plant store, you should be able to provide simple advice, or suggestions to your clients on plants, as well as how to keep them healthy in the future. Will not shop here again, and I suggest that you do the same . There are other highly respected plant stores in the Pittsburgh area that will give you a quality house plant with quality advice.

Promised another day the next week and now, weeks later he is still a no show and now is not answering their phone calls. To make it worse, my parents are seniors. I found a similar story about him on Angie's List so this is a pattern. Do NOT hire him, he is a scam artist.

We called Charles on 1/15/14 - 2 1/2 months later, the work we paid for (our checks were cashed…read morethat day) still isn't done. Roughly 20% of the work has been done, but the remaining 80% is not. They never cleaned up their work from the first day either. We paid for 2 large branches and cross members to be trimmed. Despite having had many clear days between then and now, the work isn't done. Despite many calls, he doesn't follow through on getting the work done, nor does he return calls when he says he will. We've submitted a case to the Better Business Bureau; hopefully that will help us get the work finished. While I hesitate to say we've been scammed, someone who paid for the work already (our mistake!) should be near the top of your priority list, not placed on the back burner for 2 months. While he may have had a lot of personal issues delaying the work, 2 1/2 months is more than enough time.
