She is very nice and listens to your concerns and takes the time with you. Everyone in the office is nice. We have rarely waited and they have always been quick to get us from the waiting room into a patient room. The nurses have always returned my phone call when I called for a medical question/concern. The cons: is the Westchase location. It's in a 3 story office building which you have to take an elevator to the 3rd floor and parking is an issue.

TLDR: I liked our doctor, but the lack of organization by the office in general was enough of a…read moredeterrent that we switched doctors after nine months. The doctor visits have been pretty good, but man dealing with the office can be a headache! This will not be a short review because both the good and bad are worth noting. PROS - It's daunting when you're pregnant and looking for a pediatrician. I definitely wanted one close by since I knew with this being my first child I would be living at this office. I had a neighbor that already went here, specifically to see Dr. Cronin. She said she liked that Dr. Cronin is on the younger side so she knows all the newer research. I took her recommendation and Dr. Cronin became our pediatrician. The main reasons I like Dr. Cronin are she is research based, easy to schedule with, and had terrible sleepers. Whenever she makes a suggestion it is always backed by research. I really appreciate that because I always want to know what do the facts show. Since she is relatively new to the practice she is still building her patient list. This makes it incredibly easy to get a same day or next day appointment with her (you better believe once we met our deductible I was meeting with her on an almost weekly basis.) But seriously, when you have a sick baby you want an appointment now! Finally, her own two daughters were terrible sleepers. My baby was not an angel baby. There were weeks where he decided to wake up every hour. I always felt like Dr. Cronin was empathetic and she had her own stories to share. Same with cars, he hated the car and one of her own daughters hated the car. Sometimes when you are sleep deprived and on the verge of hysteria you need a doctor that can commiserate with you. I needed to see that she is still alive and her kids are thriving to know that me and mine would live through this. Parking is a breeze. CONS - There was one time where Dr. Cronin was running an hour late (this is not an exaggeration.) I say this just to recommend that you call before your appointment to make sure they are on time. This never happened again, but that one time did scar me a little from just showing up for my scheduled appointment. The major con of this office is they don't seem to take good notes so it takes many phone calls, which are voice messages to the nurses lines and a hope and a prayer that you are by your phone when they call back. My son had a fever so we scheduled to see Dr. Cronin. We saw her at 9:50 a.m. and he was diagnosed with an ear infection. She said she would go put in his prescription right away. A couple hours later and I still hadn't heard from the pharmacy. When I called the pharmacy they said they never got it. I called back the doctor's office and they said Dr. Cronin never put in for it and they needed to get her signature to be able to prescribe the antibiotics. To make this short, fast forward six hours and four calls later and I was getting nervous because the office was about to close and I still didn't have the antibiotics. At this point my son could have had his first dose long ago and he was very fussy. I called for the second time the appointment's line so I could talk to someone and I asked is the issue seriously that all they need is a signature from Dr. Cronin. She confirmed and said it had just been a busy day. I was prepared to go back to the office and get the signature myself! They promised me they would get me the prescription by the end of the night. In the end they called it in at 5 p.m. and I got it at 5:30 p.m. The second major issue was my daycare requested a doctor's note that said my son wasn't contagious. I didn't know he needed this till after I left so when I was calling I asked about the note too. They confirmed they could fax it over and said they found the number online. At 5:15 p.m. when I was driving to the pharmacy, I got a call from another nurse saying they could fax over the note but needed a fax number. I didn't have it since they said they found it so I said I'd call back the next day and give it to them. Next day I called back, left a message with it asking to be called back when it was sent, and never heard back. That evening I sent a message via the patient portal and requested to know if the note was sent. The next day I got a call that their fax machine was broken and I'd have to come pick it up. When I got to the office later that day to pick it up, they told me the fax machine was fixed. Why they didn't call me to tell me they could just fax it now, I don't know, but at this point I was over all the interactions. So, after an incredibly frustrating couple of days I decided it isn't worth going to this office when their communication skills with each other is all over the place. I'm hoping I'm an outlier and this doesn't happen to anyone else, because I have friends that go here and love it, but it's either switch doctor's or burn down the building and I rather stay out of jail.
