He assessed the job thoroughly, removing several panels to get a real understanding of my antique electrical system (none of the other contractors I called took this step). His estimate was the best, and far below the highest estimate that I had received -- it pays to shop around. While assessing my system, Brian noticed a problem with one of my lighting fixtures and fixed it on the spot, apparently because he loves electrical work -- he wouldn't take any money. Brian coordinated with other PPE professionals to obtain the necessary permits, and his team of three worked all day to install a new panel and bring order out of chaos.
