went to replace a window motor, they looked at it and said $140 installed, when the part arrived it didn't work so they brought another in a used door panel, I asked if it was used and I thought it would be new, the lady said...oh no a new one would cost over $300 , I said so why didn't you mention it would be used, I immediately searched the part in RockAuto.com and found it for under $40 brand new with a new mechanism and showed it to her. she didn't know what to say. The impact resulted as a small crack at first, then I noticed the crack begin spreading quickly into multiple cracks across my entire window. I replaced my windshield a month ago with them, the thing wasn't even put in correctly because when I drove the car it sounded like I wind was coming in and then to top it off a small pebble bearly tapped the glass and it cracked . What a waste of money go down go to any other glass repair shop down the street, they all said the cheapest glass out there was used and I paid $275. I woke up Saturday morning to find out my car was broken into. I was very very devasted as i had never been a victim of vandalization. I called several businesses looking for a replacement and absolutely no luck and it being a weekend I was almost sure I would have to wait till Monday. But after calling Clearview Auto Glass and speaking to Tony he was able to locate the glass within 15 minutes. I drove to the location and was greeted by Lisa and her brother Tony with a coffee. They where very kind, and friendly and very knowledgeable when it came to auto glass. The installation took less than 45 minutes. Either someone hit it with a bb gun or a rock just came at me full speed on a 35pmh street, but it caused a small crack on the windshield which later on expanded to triple its size! Wtf! I had never had a windshield issue and I didnt even know where to start. I started calling people I know that are car savvy, I was planning on going to the dealer but they said I'd end up paying about 800. 800?! You guys. Its April 27 2020. I came here. Spoke with Daniel who was super nice and gave me numbers I liked more than the previous ones. So next day early morning I showed up and got it done. He told me about an hour. And they were done in 30 mins! No hassle. No run around. Super nice sweet gentlemen. I sure didnt feel like I was taking advantage of for being a female. Because we females know that happens. Tried to be nice but the lady in charge kept accusing us of stealing and trying to swindle work from them when all we wanted was for them to fix a mistake they made. Had water leaking in my car after my front windshield was changed and they said it was from user error... how was I using it wrong?! My seat was ruined and no one paid for that! Broken glass can be scary, but these guys know their stuff. They'll hook you up with cheap windshield/windows- or order it from a neighboring auto glass dealer. Tony is very helpful, and friendly. They try their best to get the job done quickly. While you wait in the shady warehouse, vendors drive by with Mexican treats, candies, juices, popsicles and fruit. After having the misfortune of having someone break my car window and steal some of my belongings, I was fortunate enough to find Clear View Auto Glass. I shopped around and the cost of replacing the window with a new one was around $150. Clear View Auto Glass was able to locate a used replacement window for only $80. This included the installation and vacuuming of the broken glass in my car. The used window looks just fine! No one can even tell it's used. Thank you Clear View Auto Glass for coming to my rescue. I was having lunch at the lovely and tasty Cafe Gratitude on Melrose and Larchmont, thrilled that I'd found free parking on Gower and Clinton - a three minute walk from the restaurant. Anyhoo, after a fantastic lunch, I came back to my car to find that someone had broken into my car by shattering my front side passenger window. Nothing worth stealing was in my car, but this was one free parking deal that suuuucked. Called about 5 places and was quoted between $95-$145 for my 2008 Prius. Uh, I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and pony up the $95 and drive down to Florence and Alameda. On my way to another place on Alameda, I happened to stop here juuuust to be sure I was getting a good deal since auto glass repair places where all over this block. Pulled in here, ready to be quoted $95 and was SHOCKED when he said - $65. Yes, $65 to replace the glass of my front passenger side window. Done and done. Great service - Everyone was so nice - they vacuumed my car and all. Thank you guys soooo much.
