Not many liquor store carry these two surprisingly. Also if you buy two of the same bottle of wines you get 10% off. Which i find amazing cause idk any other liquor store that does this. Def my go-to when I'm in the area.

I used to frequent this store a lot when I lived in NYC and worked in the same shopping center. The…read morestore was renovated after some moron caused some serious fire that burned this whole side of the shopping center about 2006. I used to stop in at least once a week when I worked at the gym. After I moved to a different gym, I was only there when visiting my parents in the neighborhood. Since I now live in Florida, I obviously do not come here often. I was friendly with the staff and owners when they were in the store very often and I frequented here a lot. When you work in the shopping center, everyone from the stores get to know each other. They were always personable and cool. They even gave my free glasses a couple of times. I recently returned when visiting my parents. Pops and I ran out of wine and ventured there. The store was the same as when I was last there. The staff was completely different though. They were not friendly or approachable either. I honestly felt like I was a teenager again shopping at Claire's... I browsed everything to compare the prices in FL. There was only about a $2-$5 difference but then I forgot about the crazy NY taxes. They have a massive selection to choose from. Pops and I knew we were looking for a Montepulciano so it did not take us long to choose. Pops also got me a bottle of Rosé that I polished off myself lol.

3/19/21 Normally a regular at this place. Solid selection…read moreand usually a helpful staff. However tonight, whoever was hired to work the registers for the evening shift felt it was ok to be rude to my elderly mother-in-law. When asked where the sweet vermouth was, they felt it was ok to answer "It's right by the sign can't you see it?!" Must take a very brave young man to take that kind of tone to an elderly woman, when asked a simple question. My advice, maybe pay close attention to the quality of people you get to work your store, maybe whoever decided to mouth off for no reason should also rethink their career choices.

In my opinion this is one of the best stores for wine in Bayside…read more The wine selection is expansive, current and well thought out. They even carry high value wines that your typical drinker would not imagine opening let alone buy. I being a hopeless wine fan do, and greatly appreciate it. Cough Opus, Lafite cough cough... :) It's a family run business, well informed/knowledgeable about what they're selling. I've been going there since becoming legal drinking age, albeit not frequent, but I'm always surprised at how current the selection is there. Cheers Amy.

Since moving to the neighborhood a few months ago, I've been buying my wine at this local shop,…read morealways paying in cash. Over time, I noticed my wallet filling up with incredibly tattered currency--bills that were soiled, frayed, badly crumpled, and, in one jarring instance, visibly blood-stained. Tracking my transactions more closely revealed that this damaged money was always the change handed back to me by the shop. It seems the business systematically keeps the crisp bills for itself while offloading defaced currency onto its clientele, a practice that feels entirely disrespectful to its customers.

Went here on Saturday January 17,2020 after the snowstorm- thank goodness they were still open!…read more Bad weather shouldn't stop a person from turning up!! Location: In a strip mall called Elechester. Lots of parking available. Interior: The store is brightly lit, clean, open, organized and the staff is friendly. I love when I go into a liquor store, can touch things and not need to shout what I want through 3 inches of bulletproof glass and give them turn by turn directions to locate a bottle of alcohol! I also love when I'm not followed around like I'm the type of low life to steal! (Maybe I should stop drinking...) They let me frolic about the store unencumbered and even made some small talk with me at checkout. Double points for chatting me up! Hours of service: They typically close at 10:30 but if it's bad weather call to verify. Overall: I'd come back here when I'm in the area. The prices are comparable to what I usually pay. Great place to score a bottle and pre game before going into Jib Lanes or pre game in general.

I've been shopping here every year for my holiday wine and gift bottles…read more The store is open Christmas Eve which is great for last minute shopping. Staff is helpful and knows their merchandise. I like the seasonal special wines at the end of the year, that I find there. I really appreciate the organic wine for gifts. I was even able to get a ginger wine from England that I like. There's a parking lot for shoppers with free parking. They always carry my case out to my car for me, as I like to buy a case for the holidays. This is a nice touch of customer service. One time I was short on gift bags and they helped me with those as well. Recommended any time of the year but my go to spot for Christmas/ New Years.
