Pros:
* My before and after pictures show very clear improvement. the aligners worked.
* I felt genuinely happier seeing the progress, especially when the aligners were more aggressively shifting my smile.
Cons:
* My teeth yellowed while wearing the retainers. I used Crest White Strips about a year prior, and despite maintaining the same brushing, cleaning, and eating habits, the aligners retained food and beverage residue, which stained my teeth again.
* The case for the retainers is extremely cheap. The magnet fell out the same day I received it, and it was so small I couldn't find or replace it. A simple plastic latch would have been more functional.
* this one is probably conjecture, but regardless I've had repeated issues trying to contact the clinic so let me paint the picture:
* when I call my calls are not returned. I've had two different friends call from their phones on separate occasions and they got immediate responses.
* On one occasion, I called the clinic trying to cancel my Aligners and they did not pick up. my friend tried to cancel my aligners on my behalf, the clinic answered his call instantly but told him I had to call. When I called, they claimed it was too late to cancel because the retainers were already made.
* Today, I received a text asking me to bring my retainers to an appointment. I called before opening hours and again 10 minutes after: both times, I got the AI bot. I left a voicemail waiting for a callback. My OTHER friend called shortly after I did and got a callback from the clinic. His call which was made later than mine received priority over mine.
* This gives the impression that the clinic prioritizes potential new customers over current ones, because their numbers aren't in the system as clients but mine is.
* During that call btw, he specifically asked on my behalf if it was okay to show up without retainers. The receptionist said it was fine, that "she [referring to me] can come, put them on for the appointment, but it's not a big deal if she doesn't have them."
*. I drove an hour to the appointment based on that, only to be turned away because I didn't bring the retainers to show the dude how they fit. Two hours wasted, one there, spent 7 minutes rescheduling an appointment, and then an hour back home.
* So basically: poor communication led me to waste gas and time -- all of which could've been avoided if someone had just called me back or given a CLEAR answer.
* When I signed up, the offer included $2,000 off and whitening/cleaning foam. I asked about the foam after my first appointment and was told I wouldn't receive it until after treatment was over, which defeats the purpose of having it during aligner use.
Conclusion:
You can find a better clinic. Invisalign is a product and any licensed dental office can provide it. That $2,000 off deal? I've seen the same exact promotion advertised elsewhere. There's no exclusive value here, just poor customer service. They're friendly acting of course but that's all, the actual customer service part is lacking.
Another clinic for example offered free AirPods, ACTUAL teeth whitening kit (like 200$ retail value not that cheap 30$ cleaning foam) PLUS the cheap foam on top of the 2k off. That's including free consultation. In other words do your research. I was gonna wait to post this review but the list of cons is getting ridiculous. read more
