We found a truck on Facebook that claimed to have no lights on the dashboard and new tires. One tired was bald. We test drove the truck and though there was a vibration in the rear when turning, the dealer at Clearview told us the caliper was sticking and we figured the brakes needed changing. Ten minutes down the road after purchasing, the check engine light came on. We drove it that night to a meeting, when we went to leave it wouldn't start. We took it to our mechanic, he found a melted fuse and told us it probably needs a timing chain and possibly needs a new transmission. We did buy this truck "as is" but there's no way that it should have went from driving fine on a test drive to not starting in one night. My husband has called the dealer several times, seems the place is owned and operated by a couple of young guys. They said they inspected it, if that is true, they have no knowledge about cars or don't care that they are selling lemons. They have done nothing to make this right. I wouldn't recommend anyone doing business with Clearview. read more
