Very professional got my mom in got her out within an hour. Her ears were cleaned out and she had a prescription for hearing aids.

Pops took his self for the tests & sales pitch. The hearing aides he purchased were pricey, but he can hear. They helped him apply for CareCredit so that he had 6 months intrest free, which allowed us girls to pitch in and help pay without putting anyone on the spot right then & there. I wish there was a more affordable option, not everyone has the kind of support system that my sisters and myself can provide for our parents. I have taken him in for adjustments, cleaning & repair. Came in and filled out forms. Then waited for my turn. They have coffee and cookies available. There are Bibles and tracts all over, so I assume it is a Christian business. My appointment was at 2:30. I got there at 2:15. I'm still waiting at 2:56. Asked what was the holdup and was told my specialist was delayed. They forgot to tell me. I had to wait longer before I got to see the tech. About 10 min. Later I got to see the tech who ran the tests. The tests seemed thorough although the equipment was not as fancy as the other place I had been. I was getting excited that I would go home with my new hearing aids. The results showed exactly what I thought. I can't understand because of background noise. That's why I came to Clear-tone. My friend said they helped her. Long story short: I left without any so I can't tell you about the quality. The hearing aids were going to cost me over $9k! More than my budget could bear. The thing I didn't like about the place was the high pressure when I said I wanted to go home to discuss it with my husband. She tried to talk me into cheaper ones after that. However, they were great on volume but not on background noise. (My problem) She tried to get me into fear that my ears were going to deteriorate faster if I didn't do anything. I asked to read the contract and was told she couldn't print it. When I still wouldn't buy, she did finally print a contract. You have 30 days to decide. After that 90 warranty. If you break them, you have one time replacement with $400 fee. Bottom line: the devices are probably great if you can afford them. My friend loves hers. But the high pressure sales tactics turned me off. I'm sad I didn't get what I needed but I guess I'll keep looking or put up with my problem as is. So far after taking my mother in law... we aren't impressed. At her first free exam they tried pushing off hearing aids on her that would cost 10,000. After telling them that the price was unacceptable they worked her a deal with some cheaper just as good ones. They promised her 6 months of batteries to sweeten the deal because she was still iffy. Today we had to come back to pick up the hearing aids because they were out of stock. The guy that she had worked with last week wasn't there, and when it was time for check out the receptionist tried making her pay a higher price. We finally got that straightened out. Only we forgot about the batteries, and when we called them to remind them the lady got extremely hateful and said that they don't give away batteries. We finally got the call back from him that it's just been taken care of. Other then the nice gentleman she worked with, the ladies in the office just seem to be out for money. read more

They gave me the hearing test and said I needed one for each ear. Tried to sell me hearing aids that cost $4000 each but I told them my budget would not allow that so they dropped down to a set of cheaper ones for $2000 each. I have found out later that I can hear just as good without a hearing aid in my right ear as I can with a hearing aid in it so I really only needed a hearing aid for my left ear. Goes to show that they want to sell you as much as they can! read more

I have mixed feelings. The service was really good. Everyone was friendly and professional. The cookies were amazing. I am not very religious so the Bibles and the religious pamphlets were a bit much, but this is Oklahoma so it's expected. My only real complaint were that their products were waaaaaaaaaay overpriced and I didn't realize how much so until after. The hearing aids work great so far and have made my life much easier but I don't know if they are worth 9k. However you do get free cleanings, a years worth of the plastic/rubber ear tips, and one free repair or replacement. But for the price of a car they should let me hear things from five miles away or let me hear through walls. Or at least come with bluetooth. Really good service, really good product, but too expensive. Way too expensive. read more

I have problems with background noises and hearing fairly specific pitches. This is due to a workers comp issue that I had a few years back. I got a settlement to provide me aids for the rest of my life. I went to clear tone because I thought they were good. However I have been a customer for over 8 years, bought 2 sets of aids from them and have made countless visits for adjustments. I have also purchased all of the warranty and accessories (like batteries) from Clear-tone. Both set of aids were the top of the line HD models at the time I bought them. To date I still have problems hearing my daughter talking to me across the dinner table when we go out to eat. I do not expect perfect hearing but being able to hear someone across the table is reasonable. Today I experienced what I consider a very unfair and disregard for customers. Since my aids are through workers comp I get batteries and supplies in bulk (more than 30 day supply) and this is how clear-tone typically sells batteries. In the beginning you could by a 30/60 day supply and then bring in a coupon to get a few batteries at a time. After a few years they stopped doing this and it became a cash and carry arrangement. Since I have been a customer for so long I realized that I had some batteries that had been around awhile, So I have been trying to use up all of my batteries. I managed to get a batch of batteries that set on the shelf for a while. For the last two months I have been trying to use a batch of batteries that have a expiration data of next month. In this batch of batteries (a batch is a box of something like 40 batteries) I have had at least one group (a small package of 8 batteries) that have barely lasted a couple of hours. I have also had a group that does not even last 30 min. So I went to the store and explained the situation hoping they would do something for a long time customer. However to my dismay I was made to wait 20 min or so. When I did get to talk to someone I was basically asked the reason I bought in bulk and that it was not their fault the batteries went bad before the expiration date. A 1 for 1 exchange would probably be a bit much to ask, but after buying 2 sets of aids (as one review posted their aids are not cheap) and 8 years of accessories, for them to have such disregard for customers I feel shows that they do not care for their customers. Since they appear to not be able to address hearing problems relating to background noise and a disregard for customers I would NOT recommend them. read more

I agree with the other review about the pressure. Nine thousand dollars is a lot of money and a person needs time to think about a purchase this large. My mother was in tears after she left and felt she was forced into writing the check. She said she felt like she was not able to leave and the woman just kept on pushing that she had to order immediately because her hearing would get worse if she did not. That is not only pressure but scare tactic! Mom said they finally gave her some paperwork but did not give her time to read it. Since this company probably sees mostly elderly, I would always recommend that somebody else goes with them. Never let your elderly parent, friend or neighbor go make a decision this big without their own support person. Unfortunately many businesses take advantage of the elderly. It is very sad because they MIGHT have a good product, but we will never know because we cancelled. This is not the way to treat anybody but especially a senior citizen. I plan on going with my mother to any future appointments anywhere. I am very disappointed in this company for allowing and or encouraging this type of treatment. read more
