3.5 stars. I tried the float tank here for the first time…read more I have been to floats before where you float in a pod (like a tanning bed). The tank here is like a bathtub, with a tall ceiling, which takes away any claustrophobic feeling. The tank itself is soundproof and lightproof. It's a very relaxing and tension relieving experience. The space is very clean and staff are friendly. They provide a bathrobe, and towels, and all the shower supplies. My only frustration here was that all the products they offered were run out. I went to the bathroom, the soap was empty. I went to get cleaned up, they have bottles of moisturizer, cream, hair serums, spray deodorant - ALL were completely empty. I would've been less frustrated if they weren't even provided. Other than this, it is a very nice space, lovely atmosphere, and very reasonable pricing.

I…read morethink she's booked for most of 2024 and I don't want to make her even more popular but I do believe in giving credit where credit is due so I need to tell you if you want an amazing Incredible Rmt who knows everything about the human body and how all the bones and muscles work together and how to fix you ASAP you should call Hazel. I was lucky enough to just find her by happenstance and I'm so happy that I met her. I could barely walk. My back was killing me, and I lay face down on the table and she could tell exactly where the muscles were the most problems just by looking at my back. She put her thumb on the most painful muscle and said does it hurt here? And I almost jumped through the roof. And then she fixed me and I felt so much better within an hour. Thank you so much Hazel, We've already had three sessions and I'm looking forward to another three within the next three weeks. I feel like a different person afterwards. Thank you!!!!!!!!!

The…read moreprevious owners never notified clients and the spa was just closed for several months with no communication about scheduled appointments, etc. I was grateful that my gift certificate was honoured by the new owners. I've now been two or three times under the new ownership. Sadly, the previous staff is gone -- who can blame them given the rocky transition. I had one or two favourite therapists and I miss them. The staff size has also been reduced so there is way less availability during the day. The massage therapist I've been seeing is good, but overall I feel the facility is losing ground. The place used to be immaculate and really felt like a spa like experience. I was in there last week, and spa shoes were dirty (they aren't cleaning them between clients - something I've noticed during previous visits), the floor has traces of salt and snow on it whereas it used to always be pristine, the decor is not as sleek as before -- there's a white leather couch that looks kind of tacky and holiday decorations that look the same. I always loved that they sent you away with a cup of hot tea. The tea is still there. I wasn't offered one during my last visit, but the time before was offered one -- so overall it's an inconsistent practice and I feel too silly to ask when not offered. I probably won't be returning once I use up my massage series, unless these new folks up their game soon.

Not only is Massud (one of the owners) a highly intuitive, respectful, safe and gifted masseuse - he also brings a wide range of modalities and abilities to his sessions so he can adjust to provide the most restful, healing experience for what you need. I have fibromyalgia so need very specific pressure. He accommodates and still manages to give me more than the light, oily rub that most others do when they find out they can't use deep pressure. I often use coupons like groupon or dealfind to get massages. So that will tell you two things - I've tried a lot of places - and I don't like paying full price! I've been coming here since it was opened and a massage here never disappoints. I usually get Gary and he's so good with his pressure and the fluid motion of his massage helps me relax. He also recognizes points that are tight and works out those knots. What I love about this place is the service, quality of massage and the setting. This place looks into the river and it's very quiet when you walk in. You don't hear the therapists talking away and that's what I don't want when I'm in a session. The service is one of the best. You're greeted in the waiting area with some slippers and a warm towel infused with a lemongrass scent to wash your hands. They add on about $75 worth of extras for free including hot stone, heat lamp, full body wash, aromatherapy, a bunch more and the newest addition is cupping. With this cold making its way through my system it's exactly what I need. Now onto the massage, I like deep massages and they get it right here. You can request the pressure when you fill out the form in the waiting area, along with the extras (free) that you want, and show them the areas to focus on and avoid. I always leave this place feeling better than when I arrived. What makes a massage good for me are; pressure, hand strength of the therapist and how fluid their motion is on my body. Some I've had elsewhere feel choppy and just not right. I've had reflexology, acupuncture and feet massages here and those were amazing as well. I love a long, good feet massage. The only thing is I always regret not booking for 90 mins!
