I own a historic home in Chestertown with many original windows, most of which have double storm windows installed in addition to the primary windows. Cleaning these windows is a labor-intensive process that requires manually removing each storm window, thoroughly cleaning both the storm and the original window, and then carefully reinstalling everything. It's easily more than twice the work of cleaning standard windows. Scott Murray responded quickly to my Yelp inquiry and provided a very reasonable quote. After a brief conversation, I hired Riverview Window Cleaning to handle the job. Scott and Amanda came out yesterday, and I was truly impressed. They were professional, courteous, meticulous, and incredibly hardworking. The quality of their work exceeded all expectations. My windows absolutely sparkle, and every storm window was reinstalled perfectly. They treated my home with great care and left everything in impeccable condition. It is rare to find a company that combines outstanding craftsmanship, fair pricing, and such a pleasant customer experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Riverview Window Cleaning to anyone looking for residential or commercial window cleaning services. I will certainly be singing their praises to my neighbors and friends. If you're looking for a local company that does exceptional work and is a pleasure to have in your home, give Riverview Window Cleaning a call. You won't be disappointed.

It then provided 3 prices for different levels of window cleaning. That section was followed by a proposal for a 2 year proposal for a visit each year which included a range of services including window washing. This was followed by a 2 year, 2 visit proposal. When I sought clarification on the 2 year, 1 visit proposal they responded with information about the window cleaning levels that did not address my specific question. When I followed up to get my question answered they noted that the multi-year agreement was not relevant to the window washing only. They did offer a discount on the window washing because of the confusion. Further correspondence revealed that the discount only comes on subsequent services and they offered to prepare a proposal detailing all of this. Then I learned that they would not provide the proposal until I had scheduled (and received?) the first year service. At that point, the red flag was up and I responded that I was not going to hire them because the process and information had been confusing from the start and did not improve. My concern being that any issues with the actual work would result in the same communication problems. Amazingly, they responded and essentially put it back on me....what I couldn't understand..... Never in 40 plus years of providing professional services did I ever tell a potential client that they were the problem.
