My wife and I wanted to replace our 10-year-old framed shower enclosure with a frameless design. We contacted a large, well-known company to provide us with a quote. While the pricing was acceptable, he stated that our walls were not plumb and we would need to hire another company to correct the issues. He also stated that he could not take measurement until the enclosure was removed and that it would be a minimum of a week to get the glass cut. Once the glass was available, we could then schedule the install sometime later. This was not acceptable to my wife and me as we should be without the ability to use the shower for about 4 weeks. We decided to have the existing framed enclosure replaced with a new framed enclosure. We contacted Nick at Clear Choice Glass Specialists. He came out as scheduled and we explained what the previous company told us and therefore, we wanted to go with a framed design. He took out a level and took some measurements. Nick said that our walls were very plumb and didn't understand why the previous company had concerns. He explained that he could take measurements that day and the glass would be ready in one week. He would then come out, remove the existing enclosure, and install the new enclosure in just a few hours. We would only be without the shower for 24 hours while the sealant cured. We approved the work and the glass was ready on schedule. Nick came out the next business day and removed the existing enclosure and installed the new one in about 4 hours.
