My Bosch tankless water heater stopped flowing hot water last Saturday afternoon. On a chance, I called Cleanline Plumbing in Nampa, ID Saturday afternoon to see if someone could come out. They were able to send technician Mario Hernandez out and he reached the house when he promised. Mario indicated that tankless systems are complex, but he has worked on many and was comfortable doing the troubleshooting. Mario verified the unit had power, and he reset the unit, but still with no hot water. Mario then unplugged the unit from mains power and when he plugged the cord back in the unit instantly started making hot water. He also lowered the water temperature down to 222 degrees from the 300 degree setting. Success! Cleanline did charge a weekend service fee of $50 (this fee was to get a technician to the house. All technician fees and parts were separate). I thought that fee was fair, given that I would be without hot water at least two more days. Mario detailed all the fees and gave some additional tips regarding maintaining the unit. Once for a frozen/burst pipe, once for a dishwasher install and most recently for new toilets and a new water heater. Mario was only here last time to reset toilets, but was able to identify potential problems when he arrived. What a quality company!! Thank you Mario and Ricky! My water softener tank broke on Sunday, Mario was out on Monday to shut it off so that it would stop leaking. On Friday, I received a new high quality water softener AND 2 new outdoor spigot installed by Ricky and Mario! The only reason that it was Friday is because that fit into my busy schedule. They would have come sooner. They were pleasant, friendly, high quality men. They cleaned everything up after they were done and explained how the machine works. Yesterday, 04/03/2020, Mario Hernandez came to our residence for an emergency repair of a water line leak. The leak was under the house in the main line from the well, so Mario was challenged to work in a rather restrictive space. His truck was well stocked with all the appropriate tools and parts, so Mario was able to make quick work of the repair and get the system back in perfect operation. We cannot recommend Cleanline Plumbing and Mario enough!! We were in the middle of moving when we found we had a bad sprinkler valve that had water bubbling up all over. We couldn't get it shut off and when we called and talked to Mario he said send me your address and I'll be right over. He arrived within a half hour. Thankfully he was able to get it shut off so the water could drain. A few days later he came back and replaced the bad valve as well as a portion of pipe that was split. Cleanline Plumbing showed up when they said they would. When your water is shut off that is one of the most important things. You don't realize how much you rely on having water available until it isn't there. Using milk jugs full of water to refill the toilet tank is annoying. No showers is awful also. Eddie and Ricky were very knowledgeable and professional. They didn't leave a mess or use foul language in my house. We had our hot water heater overflow bladder start to leak. We discovered in on a Sunday afternoon. We called Cleanline Plumbing and spoke to Mario. He informed me of the emergency fee and quoted me for the replacement tank over the phone. He was here within the hour and had the tank on hand and replaced quickly.
