It has a really strong smell because of overuse of cleaning solutions. This smell is so toxic it makes the whole family quite sick. We still can't stay in that room for more than a few minutes due to the toxic smell. We have already cleaned the carpet using Rug Doctor with only water and the water was full of the cleaning solution. The fun fact that despite the overuse of cleaning solution the stains have not been removed.
