SCAM *PLEASE BE WARNED* DO NOT MAKE SAME MISTAKE I DID- scammed out of $1300!!! I was charged $1300 dollars for a move in/out clean. Paid extra for windows and walls to be cleaned and washed. Not even a basic clean was performed. I asked for a refund multiple times and they charged me the full amount regardless and said no refunds per their policy. The manager I spoke with on the phone kept trying to speak over me and had nothing to say to any of my concerns. Then kept messaging asking me to call and tried to make it sound like I didn't call. I sent an email the evening after they came stating i had multiple concerns, on Saturday, the didn't get back to me until Monday. The house was completely empty intentionally so it could be thoroughly cleaned. I sent pictures and videos, which are appalling to management and he even said that this is not up to their standards. Not even a basic clean was performed. I seriously have no idea what they did with the time they were there (5 hours) the supervisor sat in their car in the driveway in the backseat most of the time. My husband said they kept asking if they could leave and didn't know if we wanted things like the pantry cleaned because they thought it was a move out clean. My husband saw them standing and leaning up against the wall, waiting to be told they could leave. The floors turn my socks black, cobwebs and spiders everywhere, thick layers of dust on all light fixtures, old hair and beard trimmings on sinks, sticky stains on shower wall- which I was told was too hard to remove, and I removed with a wet papertowel and no cleaning product. This is fraud as absolutely zero things off of their checklist they sent me were done or completed. They provided no service at all and I am not sure how they are a legitimate company, I am honestly not sure that they are. Please see pictures- they wanted to send the same crew who came originally to "spot clean" the places they "missed" and said that they would not redo the whole house, when the whole house was not done once. They will also respond here and say they tried to resolve this issue by asking me to call them and asking me to let them come back out to the house. How can they resolve this, when they took my money for a service and didn't provide it at all the first time? Especially after being told they were not going to clean the whole house, which is what I paid for and did not get. The house did not smell like any cleaning products and my photos will prove that it is very clear nothing was cleaned. I have videos as well. Videos and pictures from every single room in the house. PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY- THIS IS FRAUDULENT/SPAM/A SCAM I have attached a screenshot stating that THE SAME CREW WOULD COME OUT DUE TO SCHEDULING CONFLICTS, so now Nick the manager is lying! Cleaners Joy is absolutely horrible as cleaners and as a company. Their cleaners are incompetent and I feel like their owners ripped me off. I'd leave a negative star rating if that was an option. Update: Since Nick just left a terribly misleading response, I'm adding to my review to clarify my issues with the company. They have also threatened legal action for "defamation" in my review so they continue to be unpleasant to deal with as was mentioned in other reviews. The reason I wrote my review a year later, is that I received an email from Cleaners Joy soliciting my business this morning ... which happens to be the same day an absolutely wonderful cleaning person was cleaning my home, and it reminded me of the terrible experience that I had with Cleaners Joy and pi**ed me off all over again. To clarify my concerns and correct the facts: They did not return for a re-cleaning, they just sent another incompetent cleaner to help that was no better than the first. The first cleaner barely spoke English (I had to use Google Translate to be able to communicate with her) and clearly had no training. Neither of them were even familiar with the "checklist" as they missed really obvious places that went untouched. For example, they never even looked at the ceiling fans because if they had they would have seen the very obvious dust in the blades. The original cleaner didn't even know how to make a bed properly as the sheets that she put on had a very obvious right and wrong way ands she did it wrong. Given that they picked at an old scab, I thought that I should describe the events as they occurred and not let the company put a self serving glaze on what happened. They did give me a partial refund, but given the extremely poor job they did, it didn't seem right at the time but I accepted it just so I did not have to have any further dealings with them. I want to preface by saying the cleaning was phenomenal. I was excited to re-book for a monthly clean and even told my neighbors what a great job they did. Here's why it's a 1-star rating: I had booked a standard cleaning for Thursday. Monday before the cleaning, the owner calls me and says that he recommends a 'Deep Clean' for my first cleaning, especially if I was going to make it reoccurring. I told him no thanks (I have reasons why I wanted to push that off to a later date), but he was incredibly pushy, continuing on about how the cleaner will recommend a Deep Clean as well. I said no thanks again, and I would not get a cleaning if they wouldn't do just the standard clean. You know, dusting, floors and the addons I added from the site, like stove for example. Frustrated, the owner hung up and I just kind of shook that off, but it was strange that he would be so pushy about it. Come day of cleaning, the cleaner showed up and she was absolutely fantastic. Did such a great job. Before she left, she asked if I wanted to do a walkthrough and if there was anything I found not up to par, she would fix it (there wasn't, it was great). I asked her if this was a deep clean or a standard and she said "It's standard because I didn't clean things like baseboards", I said great because the owner was really pressuring me into the deep clean and I told him no. Fast forward 90 minutes later, the owner called me and said I got a deep clean and will be billed for the deep clean cost. I told him that's not what I ordered nor what I agreed upon to which he told me "If that's the service you got then that's what you'll be billed for." This went on for a few minutes back-and-forth with me, him telling me that I owe him that money, and me telling him that I already received the payment receipt for the standard clean and didn't order a deep clean. But, he kept on stating that he's going to call the cleaner and if they say it was a deep clean then my credit card will be charged the additional amount. I told him if he does that, then I will dispute the charge and report him to the Better Business Bureau. I also told him that I recommended them to my neighbor and was going to be a reoccurring customer, however, not anymore. Don't let them force you to pay for something you did not order nor want! Bad business practices!! So while the clean was amazing, because of the argument and forcefulness of the owner about paying for something I didn't order nor receive, I won't book again. read more

Used them 2 times . Second was a man who spoke no English, I can get around that but I was surprised that he used a broom so much. Turns out the vacuum did not work. No water based cleaning in kitchen or baths. Just kept using old rags. Major pass on this company. They freelance out with no oversea of "employees". Workers are not given any supplies so just show up out of pocket items . A COMPLETE RIPOFF. I will take this issue to a complaint center. The supervisors showed not a care in the world. I had a great experience with Cleaners Joy. My organization hired them for a pretty involved job of cleaning a client's apartment that was in bad shape. The initial quote I got was pricey but I felt it was worth it for the service we were getting. Shortly after the cleaners got there, I got a call from the company saying that the apartment was in worse condition that I thought and a deep clean would require junk removal, which would cost even more. They were upfront about the cost and said that they could do it if I wanted to do but offered to just do the best they could for their standard rate instead, which I agreed to because it was over $1,000 cheaper than the quote that included junk removal. All in, it cost about $275 for 3 hours of work and the apartment looked much better after previously being in an unlivable (and unsafe) condition. I requested a quote for a 800 square foot house. My main objective was to have a deep cleaning and it must include the wooden blinds in living room. I also says to have the two walls in the breezeway washed along with the doors to front and back of home. He agreed and quoted 350.00. I agreed and gave him my credit card number. The cleaner arrived and she said that the blinds would be extra and that the door trim in breezeway would be extra. I called the service and the owner said that the blinds would be extra and the doors in breezeway extra. He would not let me talk and continually interrupted me. He charged my card 350.00. The cleaner was great! She did the blinds and storm doors anyway. No window cleaning though. Sorry, not calling on them again read more
