To say we are disappointed is an understatement…read more After an incredibly challenging year following a house fire, we were finally preparing to move back into our home after reconstruction. We were under a very tight deadline, my husband had become severely ill, we had deliveries that could not be postponed, and we needed to empty our apartment. We reached out because we desperately needed a thorough final clean before moving in. Mary initially seemed kind and personable, and we were hopeful that we had found someone who could help us during an extremely stressful time. Unfortunately, the cleaning did not meet the expectations we had clearly communicated. There were areas that had not been properly cleaned, and even our contractor questioned what had actually been completed. I have attached photos showing some of the work that was left undone, along with screenshots of our text conversation. Our family ended up spending the following day deep cleaning the house as deliveries were being made. When we raised our concerns, rather than working with us to resolve the issue, Mary became extremely hostile and referred to us as a "scamming ass." She also told us, "Why dont ypu send me the 150. Write a horrible review and move on," and criticized us for being upset she did not answer a phone call, despite the fact that she herself acknowledged the cleaning had not been thorough and that she expected to be contacted about it. Our frustration is not simply we were unhappy with the cleaning. It is that we hired someone during an incredibly difficult and time-sensitive situation, paid for a service we did not feel was completed as promised, and then were treated disrespectfully when we brought the concerns to her attention. So, if you already have a sparkling clean home, Mary may be your girl. If you need a home thoroughly cleaned--particularly after construction--I would recommend looking elsewhere.
