Since we were out of town for the week, our realtor took care of the actual details - giving them access to the property and giving them our payment. Our realtor is picky. Almost as finicky (anal???) as me. She called when they were through and absolutely raved about the job they did. We had also given her a tip to use at her discretion - we probably should have doubled it considering her glowing report. She was so happy that she moved up the photographer to that afternoon. Norma charged us $300 for a two bedroom, two bath home. A bargain. I have my own cleaning lady that I've had for years. However, if she ever quits, after I finish sobbing, I'll hire Norma's immediately.

I mean they really made lemonade out of lemons-- I requested some extra services, like baseboard cleaning and oven cleaning, sweeping out the garage, and some organizing etc. on the first service, and they really made my place into a better place. I work full time and just don't have the time to do major cleaning tasks like cleaning 2000+ sq feet of hard floors, and two full bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms on three levels (with 3 cats). I work full time on-site/in-office all week, and the last thing I feel like doing is MORE work all weekend or on weeknights after I get home trying to keep my place relatively clean (and not even doing that great of a job). I was always one of those people-- I sort of resisted having house cleaning bc I thought it made me snobby. However, just try it once, and you won't have that attitude any more. The house had a basic cleaning prior to the arrival of Bear Brothers Cleaning. After they left, it was not any cleaner. See the photo of the baseboards which were still quite dirty. Jacko was friendly. Offered to reclean the house 2 days later but then cancelled by text with no further explanation. Keys to the house went missing and we had to call a locksmith to cut a new key for the house. So far, we have not been charged for this. 2 cleaning people for 3 hours with the extra service in a 2,314 sq ft house was supposed to cost almost $590. I would never recommend this company.
