Very disappointed with my experience at Clean Ride Car Wash. They advertise a full service for $27, but when I got there with my Jeep Renegade, they said it would actually be $45--claiming the lower price only applies to small cars, even though that's never mentioned in the ad. I didn't go for the full service because the price felt ridiculous and shady. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they enter the sale at the $27 price and pocket the difference. I went with just an exterior wash, and even that was a waste--my car came out still dirty, with blue streaks left on the hood. If you want to pay more than advertised for your car to NOT get cleaned, this is the spot for you. I wanted to start this off by saying I am 40 weeks pregnant and have a scheduled c-section for tomorrow to deliver my baby. I came here today to make sure my car is cleaned while I am recovering. I came here due to a picture I saw online of one of their signs saying that a full service car wash is $27 which is said to include an exterior and interior clean. When I got here, one of the workers told me it would be $40. I asked why and he said because of the size of my car. I have a VW Tiguan. The sign did not say anything about certain cars being more which if it did, I would not have had a problem. I told him I am not paying that since their sign does not have different pricing for different size vehicles. He then said he will do it for $35, I said I will do it for $32 and that is all. He said he will speak with the owner to see what to charge. The owner came out to take a look at my car and agreed that $30 would be sufficient. I agreed and proceeded to get my car cleaned. Typically when you go to a car wash, the least they do is wipe down the seats and inside the car doors. They rushed the job and when I checked, the entire inside looked untouched. I asked one of the workers to please clean the seats and at least the doors, even though they didn't vacuum either, I didn't bring that up because at that point I was ready to go. He said that would be a detailing job. I have gotten my car washed before, and they always clean the doors and seats. I paid for the highest package so that was the least i expected. The owner came back out to check my car. I asked him if they clean the seats and doors as part of the package and he said yes. I showed him the dirty spots that were not cleaned and asked if they could clean it. At that point, he said "You got what I paid for, get the fuck out of here you fat bitch." Then ran inside. Almost too stunned to speak, i waited by my car and when he came back out, of course i had a few words for him too and asked for a refund. Again, he told me to get the fuck out of here. I called the police because first of all, you're not going to disrespect me, pregnant or not, I am a paying customer and you failed to do your job correctly. When the cops came, his entire demeanor changed (of course) the cops told him to just clean the car and I will leave. He lied to them and said that he did clean it after I asked. So if you want to be disrespected, this is the spot for you! If I could give this place 0 stars i would. There was no wonder this place was empty, and to the owner reading this, I hope your karma comes back around and this place finally shuts down. Old piece of trash, smh. read more

Worst customer service in the entire area. Owner is a rude and obnoxious individual. I would not recommend this place to anyone at all. Caught yelping red handed! Was taking a snapshot of the menu and the employee asked what I was up to....explained I was yelping.... Geez could have at least given me an upgraded wash Seriously though I went for the $4 basic car wash, I couldnt take the salt anymore. They did a good job, rims got cleaned pretty well, the body wasnt perfect. For $4 it was a great deal. If I spent $20 I would be upset. 2 gentlemen dried the car after I exited the wash. After getting to the entrance, and unable to pull off the line, I'm told a Full Service is $40. When I informed him the sign stated $27 I was told that is the price for a car, not a SUV. I have been a customer at Clean Ride Car Wash for years, as the prices were reasonable and staff accommodating...until today. I went in for a full car wash expecting to pay $24, and the owner, Barry, said that it was $36 because it's an SUV (Toyota RAV4). I conveyed that I've been coming here for years and the gentleman charges me $24. Barry said that must have been 2 years ago, as he has been there 7 days a week for the past 6 months, and it's $35. I said, OK for $35 please make sure they do a good job. He says I'll tell you what, we always do a good job and if you're not happy don't come back! After the job was complete, I asked to speak to the manager bc there was still debris on the car. Barry comes out looking irritated and says this is sap and sap doesn't come off! I said I came here for a car wash expecting a clean car, I want it off. He says that's sap and it doesn't come off! You know, the minute you came in here, you had an attitude, and if you don't like the service here, get the fuck out of here! I said don't talk to me that way I'm the customer, who's the owner? He yells I AM! You have a problem, call the POLICE! You piece of shit, get the fuck out of here! In front of other customers and my 15 year old daughter. To not stoop to his level, I held my composure and told him he was disgusting. In all my life, I have never been so ridiculed and especially in front of my child. An Old Bridge Police officer was kind enough to come to my home and take down my info, and agreed that poor customer service is not a crime and to be spoken to in that manner is unacceptable...and they definitely did not do a good job cleaning the car (bird poop and sap left behind) Money is not the issue here, but I'll be scarred from this experience knowing that businesses and people like that still exist. read more

Horrible car wash. They only prewashed back of vehicle. The dirt on both sides of car was still there after washing. I had to physically clean the sides of my car. The sign states the Bronze wash is $8 and they charged me $9. I will never go back. read more

I don't live in Old Bridge anymore but I do visit when I am around. You really can't beat the $4 wash. I never get anything additional because i don't think it's really necessary. The $4 wash cleaned the wheels off good. Once I paid for the tire wash (?) and it was kind of the same thing as what the $4 job would have done. read more

This place definitely changed owners. It is by far one of the WORST car washes in town. Yesterday my car was washed and they left soap all over the car and did a really bad job in drying out. When my husband got it if the car to dry it he realized how terribly it had been washed and complained to the "manager" and he literally told him to "get the f-ck out of here and don't come back Anymore if he was so dissatisfied". Came in with quite a dirty SUV inside and out. Bought the full package and I was glad I did. After a thorough machine wash, more than 3 people worked on the car. They paid great attention to the doors, dash, seats, windows. They removed the carpets and washed them out too. They did a good job, very happy. Car looks like it got detailed!
