Came in to get the car cleaned and wanted to focus on the interior, so they recommended the VIP wash. Outside looked great, but they definitely could have done a better job in the interior. There were some spots that still had dirty that could have used an extra wipe. they also didn't clean the trunk at all, although I had some golf clubs in there but they could have removed them. Overall, I'd say worth the $35 it for a basic clean. read more

Made a yelp account to warn people. Was recommended by a friend of mine to come to the car wash (not detailing section). Was genuinely surprised how bad of a job they did. Got the VIP package, their highest package (albeit still cheap in price). Windshield still dirty. Plastic car mats still wet. All the water from the side view mirrors back onto my car doors by the time I got home. Barely looks like they touched the dashboard or middle console given the many finger prints still present. Bird poop somehow still on the hood. Couldn't even place the plastic mats in properly. If that's the best package, then I'm not sure what you get for the two below it. Stay away at all costs. Unless you're getting your car detailed. That guy looked like he was actually cleaning and doing a good job. You'll have a better clean by putting soap on your car, letting it rain, and drying it the next day than coming to this place. read more

The Advanced Auto Spa was basically burning money. I received package 2 considering my car is brand new and the inside is basically spotless. The women and man vacuuming my car did a once over on the mats and trunk, I was standing right over them and they still gave it little to no effort to vacuum. When the car was "washed" and they people went to dry it, they left streaks, there was STILL BIRD LEAVINGS on my windshield (the reason why I got the wash in the first place), and my rims were still dirty. Even when I checked my trunk I was shocked at how it looked. I spent 30 minutes when I got home properly vacuuming, cleanin the rims and removing the bird leavings. - side note, I found an empty blue "5-Gum" gum wrapper on the drivers side mat....how do you miss a blue gum wrapper when vacuuming?!?!? I was in a rush to leave because I went on my lunch break but I wish I stayed to look at the car because I ended up spending more time re cleaning it. Very disappointed It is difficult giving a local business a bad review during a pandemic but bad business is bad business. I would definitely not recommend. read more

Honest work deserves recognition. I can appreciate a business that gives you exactly what you paid for in record time. I got an interior detailing along with an external wash and wax and my car looks exactly as I bought it in 2014. My car was a lot, from food and drink spills, dog hair and slobber, sweat and dirt from picking up my sister and her friends from the beach and sports practices and about 4 years of no true internal maintenance - it was gross. The owner, Marco, is friendly and efficient. I appreciated how upon inspection of my vehicle he did forewarn me of any possible issues for removing dog hair from certain material and that it might take extra time but my expectations were exceeded because the interior of my vehicle is unrecognizable and done faster than anticipated. I do want to note my booking experience. I booked my initial appointment online for a Thursday, I was quickly emailed and phoned by Marco to reschedule due to inclement weather. I rescheduled for a Tuesday and had gotten rained out again, only that time i wasn't notified the shop had closed for the day. I gave it another shot and rescheduled online for the morning after and i received a call from Marco immediately after booking. I explained how I wasn't notified about the second cancellation and he was sincerely apologetic and determined to make this detailing happen. In addition to that call, I received an email later that evening confirming the appointment and making it happen "rain or shine". I'm glad I gave it another shot because my car looks amazing and i really appreciated the ease of booking online and the confirmation calls by the owner directly. Makes the customer experience more genuine. Despite any issues with the above rescheduling scenario I still give this a 5 star rating, because honest mistakes can happen and obviously no one can control the weather, but most importantly my car detail looks superb. read more

Now I do not leave reviews but this positive and much deserved review is way overdue as my family and I have been going to this carwash for years. My grandpa who lived in all the way in New York, would wait to get a carwash for when he came down to Jersey to visit. He would plan to get a carwash every Friday morning for years before his passing. He trusted this carwash and very much respected the owner. In addition to that, about a year ago I brought my old Volkswagen Passat in with writing on my car from those decorative car markers. I could not figure out how to remove it for 9 months, even after going to get a carwash somewhere else. The owner knew exactly what to do immediately and so kindly removed, giving me so much relief. Nothing sets this car wash apart from the rest. They get you in and out as quickly as possible, without really paying attention to the details of their work, even during off-peak weekday hours, when the conveyor belt is empty. The exterior car wash I had left most of the soap in the front grill, the SUV wet after "hand drying", and the tire shine which was applied directly onto wet tires was gone 10 minutes later when I arrived home. It was Saturday night so it wasn't crowded and the guy who works inside was super nice and took his time to explain to us which air fresheners he prefers since I can never find one that lasts. I got to use their bathroom and it was a very pretty clean bathroom especially for a car wash. They took their time to vacuum and clean the car well. I showed up The other day and I'm shocked how bad some people are at their job. My car still had soap all over when it came out of wash. The dryers had no interest in drying the car. I had to ask for a rag to finish drying after they walked away. They barley vacuumed the car. Back floors were not even touched. There are plenty of car washes on 34 and in the area. When I tried to ask them To get the soap Off I was quickly dismissed and they went to next car. If I wanted a $5.00 drive through wash I would have went to one. Not to mention the complete disrespect of blowing me off when I simply just asked for what I paid for! Shame on you Advance car wash for such a bad experience! I'm glad the owner replied! 1... I'm only compelled to leave reviews when I have fantastic or awful service. Unfortunately, this was the worst service I've ever experienced at a car wash. I paid $26 for package #4. I get back in my car and they haven't even vacuumed the dog hair off of my car seat. I took a picture (and attached it to my review) to show the owner and he said that vacuums don't remove dog hair. WHAT?! For all you 90 million dog owners in the US, the owner of Advanced Auto Spa says that vacuums don't remove dog hair. I didn't even know what to say, never in my life have I heard something so ridiculous. He said his employees work even harder when he's out there watching them so he knows they did the best job they could. He refunded me $16 and charged me $10 for an exterior wash only. They closed as soon as I left (1:15pm, even though it says they're open till 4:30pm on their website - clearly they were rushing to get out of there) I drove straight to the car wash down the street where they had complimentary vacuums and got all the dog hair out in 2 minutes. Posted the during and after pics below. What a miracle - the vacuums removes dog hair! Oh, and the exterior wash there was only $5.99, 40% less. Advanced Auto "Spa" also didn't connect my floor mats and left spotty car shine all over my dash. Never again!! read more

I used to live in NJ and then eventually moved out of the state for work. I tell you, this place is as good as it gets! This place takes all types of cars, I've seen clunkers getting tree sap taken off them, and Maserati's getting the works - car wash, external & internal detailing, you name it. Every car wash I've had since they've taken care of my car has been sub par. The staff is extremely friendly, they pay attention to detail, and they give you ridiculously good rates for the services they give you. Cannot recommend this place highly enough! If your going to review a place at least make it worth it. The first person I see greets with a hi. Tell him what I want hands me a card with my selection. And off I go. Walking down the "tunnel" there's plenty of thing to gaze at including your car. I opted to skip the free show. Meet second person who is also friendly. So far this place isn't bad. Gift cards, loyalty card air fresheners all over the place and Spot rewards too if you have the card. Picked what is suppose to be a beachy smell. And time to pay. Any whoooo car goes in dirty comes out very clean. The team that drys and vacuums and details the car are very professional and very efficient. So in reality I only have one complaint. Use a better tire wet. Hard to tell it was used when the tires are wet from the wash. After 20 minutes. There are a lot of spots where it obviously didn't take the tire wet solution your using. My review is based on both the Car Wash and Detailing services. I have been bringing my cars here for years to get washed and I'm always happy with the results! Appreciate the fact the they do a thorough job drying the car (even opening doors and trunk to dry the crevasses). I just got my car detailed here for the first time and they did an amazing job, I couldn't be happier! Long story short my car was covered in tree sap and even though I never got my car detailed before I knew I wanted to bring my car here since they always do an excellent job washing my car. Disappointed.. I came on a slow, quiet Wednesday afternoon. Decided to splurge and get their highest #5 package since it had been a while. Long story short, i can under no circumstances recommend anybody getting this package. For starters it is $36 including tax. I didn't see anything special to warrant this as i feel i received a very run of the mill wash and cleaning. That is a very high premium for a single car wash and i expected a little more than the usual. There are 2 main upgrades to this package from the #4 and others below it. With #5 you are getting a spray wax and carpets shampoo'd. However in my car i have rubber floor mats in the front and back. I expected the carpets underneath to be shampoo'd. This was not the case, as all i got was the rubber mats power washed in the beginning. This needs to be addressed or advertised differently. You are also supposed to get the windshield applied with Rain-X as is the case in lower packages. I saw no signs of that having been applied. When i apply it myself at home with the spray and a cloth you can see a haze on your window for 2-3 days afterwards. I'm sure this was applied during the actual wash process with a machine but again i dont see any traces of it on my windshield. The wash itself is okay; good, definitely nothing special. There was a decent amount of dirt and debris still on the front of my car near the grill and headlight area. The interior came out pretty good, they spent a good amount of time on it but my leather seats were not as clean as i would have expected. If i had selected the #2, or 3 package i probably would have a very different opinion because thats about what this was was worth. Dont splurge for the #5, i have received very comparable washes and cleanings at other places for just above half this price. read more

I have been going to get my car wash at this place for 3+ years. Today was the first time I felt like I was not a welcomed customer. It may be a holiday but if you have a business, it should not matter. I was the last customer to get a car wash and there was not 1 employee to get my car after it was washed. It rolled over the speed bump and almost into the street. They are lucky that I was watching my car to jump into it to stop it from rolling on to on coming traffic on rt 34. When I was upset and letting my anger out at them (as I should have the right to), they were mad because I do not have the right to be angry at what happened. I didn't even receive an apology and the owner "Steve P." was not even sympathetic. I was shocked. He asked what did I want.. I said nothing bc he, as an owner, should have valued me as a customer. Not just ask what I want to close for the holiday. I liked this place but after today I will not go back. Funny thing is, he thinks I don't have class, because I was yelling/screaming (because I was very upset at the situation).. if it happened to anyone else, they too would be that upset. It shows class of how an owner won't ever have sympathy of their mistake, especially on yelp. read more

Incredible experience! From the ease of selecting your wash, speaking with the washers, and paying, you're getting your moneys worth at this place. Everyone is incredibly kind and personable and I like watching my car as it goes through the wash. After you pay, you walk outside while people towel dry your car, but make sure you sit down and dont rush them or they'll rush and miss spots. I always tip them in their little box on the cart also, they always leave the interior spotless. There was one time that the inside of my windows weren't even wiped down by them, but the like on this day was almost to the street so it's not a huge deal. They also give you a card that you can collect points on which is pretty cool. This is the only car wash I'll go to, especially with having bad experiences in the past with other washes (one had my side mirror blown off, one had my car go off the tracks - not a good sight, one the workers were extremely rude). I usually don't post reviews but this place deserves a positive one! We just moved to the area and in the beginning of the week my whole street got egged. Not knowing I let the egg sit in my car. When I finally realized I googled searched car washes and decided this one looked good.. I pulled up and everyone had a smile, said hello and was super nice. When my car went through and the egg stains were still on I asked the nice guy at the front (Marco) if he had any advice on how to get the nasty egg off. He came out side with me and explained why egg is so hard to take off and started trying ways to remove it. Taking his time he ended up removing all the egg stains. I was so great full.
