Charlie does the same thing and uses his own made-by-hand shaving cream! I asked Charlie how long he has been cutting hair: 50 years! He was a very nice guy and the haircut was great. He doesn't accept card like all good places, so bring a $20, but you're only going to need $14. He has a sign on his shop that says "Profanity in the presence of woman and children will not be tolerated." If that doesn't tell you that this is a classic Barber shop, I don't know what will. I was hesitant in going back to Lew's because of the price, so I really needed a haircut. I was happy to find Charlie's because the value you get in a haircut, the environment, Charlie himself, and the price. The wait was a little long, but that's how a Barbershop works.
