I am always pleased with the service and quality of my drink/food. Having been a barista in a past life, I am absolutely understanding of the hand crafter nature of the menu at Clean Juice. I'll choose this anytime over unhealthy fast food slop. Keep it up! read more

Hi Lane, I recently had a friend visit your store who had a remarkably similar experience to mine. I also came across Maria's review just now, which further reinforces what I experienced. I'm disappointed that, rather than taking accountability, you continue to dispute what happened and redirect the conversation to Yelp comments. For clarity, I did reach out to you directly when you responded to my review. An honest acknowledgment would have gone much further. read more

I'm writing to say I had a similar experience as the review written by Natalie P. The last several times I've been the staff is quite rude and not very accommodating. The staff definitely needs better training on professionalism and customer service. It's definitely a big turn off since I enjoy a few of the things Cj has to offer. Lastly to add I don't think I would have continued going if I would've seen Natalie's review, the owner Lane's response was unprofessional as well and not how you handle business. read more

Consistently terrible customer service. My wife and I have been frequenting 1-3x a week but we're cutting it off As of my visit just now. There's been only one worker who's always nice and personable (the pretty one who's kind of new, ironically). The staff are overtly rude, but do so passively if that makes sense. They are clearly annoyed to have a customer, and clearly get a kick out of letting the customer know that, and they will only do the bare minimum to engage Much less be friendly. The service is a 'entitled Gen Z rich kid who has a job, but no work ethic or interpersonal skills" vibe. The "Prayer Jar" is a nice ironic touch...... save your money and stay away. Consistently the worst customer service I've encountered. read more

I tried the Creamsicle One protein smoothie. It was amazing. It tasted exactly like a creamsicle. The only reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because of the price. A large with tax is basically $10. For a treat it was amazing! For every day it is expensive. read more

My desire to start my day with a clean juice and wholesome food led me here. It was a pleasant experience, to say the least. I went early morning and ordered The Energy One, and their almond Butter Toast. The store was bright and clean. The workers were friendly. The menu is well versed with a variety of smoothies, açaí bowls, juices, and other items. There prices reflect wholesome food, so they are not cheap. I paid $14 for a clean juice and toast. I was happy with my selection and would definitely return. Health is wealth. read more

Too be honest Poor customer service and not very welcoming. Mid ah bowls and very watery

Juice drinks were delicious but it took them (2 very nice guys!) twenty minutes to make them. There weren't many customers there. I'll be reluctant to return. read more

Might have been what I ordered but the cold brew coffee type smoothie was gross. I'm of the mind that everything on your menu should be equally good or don't include it but this choice was less than great so probably won't be back. read more

I did an online order and came 15 mins later. They just pulled the tickets when I got there. Said it would take 15 mins. I've now been waiting over 25 mins. All staff members seem very incompetent and are moving like sloths. Nobody is smiling. Never was treated or thanked or anything polite. After I had been waiting 15 mins they proceeded to tell me they were out of half of the things I ordered. They didn't have any resolution for me. I'm still waiting. Going on 30 mins. I have never had a good experience here and honestly will probably not return. read more

The juice is delicious!!!! I was so thankful to be able to grab a healthy snack on the go. It is quite a rare find. However be prepared to pay $8.75 for a small glass that is 1/4 filled with ice so you're not getting the full amount of juice. If you're looking for a high quality cold pressed juice bursting with nutrients, you might want to DIY or go somewhere else. If you want a cold refreshing high glycemic index watered down treat, this is your place. Ways to make this place even better: 1) Make The guest Wi-Fi user friendly. The ONE and ONLY other customer waiting for his drink had issues too. It would have been nice to sit inside instead of my car and enjoy my juice while I waited for my dog to be done at the groomers next door. 2) There is a sign at the cashier that says one dollar extra for anything that contains avocado because of the "avocado shortage" Maybe incorporate it into the price to account for future shortages. 3) Please post your prices so they are visible to your customers. 5) It would been extra nice if the employees were a a little warmer and more energetic. I'm giving an extra long review because I really want this place to ONE DAY serve a high quality nutrient dense cold pressed juice that I'm more than happy to pay for. I'll definitely be coming back if or when that happens I truly wish this company the best of luck! Keep juicing! read more

Tastes great just like every other location. But their a website is all messed up and required me to order from. 3rd party site.

It's decent. Shakes don't taste nearly as good as they should. It's pricey. A good spot for some golf people.

Perhaps I didn't order the best thing on the the menu, but it tasted like they blended an entire piece of chalk into my smoothie. I know smoothies can be chalky, but I mean....it was alot. The service was friendly enough and the place was very clean, cute, and really welcoming. They must have been short staffed because there was a considerable wait time. I want to give them 3.5 stars, but the drink was so bad that I can't justify giving them 4. read more

A fantastic healthy option for lunch! Great acai smoothie bowls, avocado and hummus toast. A sneaky way to get greens into your kids!

I love the açaí bowls here; however, they're too expensive to be inconsistent. Just placed a to go order for a beach bowl. The coconut was substituted for bananas without a heads up or anything. I purchased the bowl for my coworker who specifically wanted this one and doesn't eat bananas! In other instances, I've noticed less product in my bowls. I'd get to work and the bowl is only about half filled. Other times I barely have any granola. I can't continue to rant and rave about a place where you never know what you're going to get. It needs to be the same everytime. No surprise substitutions. No half filled bowls. read more

The best staff you'll find in any business. The cleanses, the wraps, all the cold pressed juice is delicious. I tried the cleanse because of a friend and I feel great. Juice was really good but for nearly $9 with a discount, I won't go back. I understand it's organic and a company needs to turn a profit to stay open. But I bet ppl would come back a lot more often if the prices weren't so high for such small juices. This is Southern Pines not LA. read more

Food is amazing and so are their smoothies. They are very welcoming and nice every time I go in here to order. I usually always get the yummus bowl salad and it's fresh and delicious every time. The smoothies are also made fresh and are very tasty. Great place for healthy food. read more

Went to clean juice hoping to get a delicious peanut butter and banana smoothie. Wasn't sure if they had this on their website but I figured why not at least try because most places do since it is the by far superior smoothie choice. Was very disappointed to find they did not sell these. I still decided to order since I was in the mood for a delicious and healthy smoothie. I wanted banana so I ordered the recovery protein smoothie with hemp protein. I ordered a small and was BAFFLED when the employee told me my price. 9 FUCKING DOLLARS. For a small smoothie. Wtf??? I paid anyway because I didn't want to be rude. I had to wait 20 MINUTES. for a fucking smoothie. Wtffff. Like literally how whattt??? When I finally got my smoothie I was very excited and hungry. It tasted like DOG SHIT. never again will I go to clean juice. I would much rather just fucking throw money down the drain. read more

Got the avocado toast which tasted like it had been drenched in salt water. It was so salty I couldn't even eat it. The lemon juice was a nice touch but could only tolerate a few bites because of the salt level. Got the "orange" juice which was 5 bucks for a few ounces. Don't waste your money. read more

I've been going to the anytime fitness a few stores down and stumbled upon this place. The smoothies are great! I had the coffee one smoothie and the youthful one smoothie and both were great. I guess the only way to purchase anything here, if you don't have a half an hour, is online. I went in with about 15 minutes between appointments and found one employee making a smoothie and one taking on the phone. No one was interested in taking my order. I love this spot. My daughter has severe nut allergies so we have to be super careful in places that use nut products. They have a designated allergen-free blender and they were so patient in answering all of my questions about how they handle allergens. It's always super clean, the employees are always friendly and helpful. They also get big points for having secured WiFi for those of us who can't work on a public connection. I also happened to meet the owner out and about and she couldn't have been nicer -- I love supporting small business and good people! Oh, and the yummus salad is amazing. Highly recommend! read more

Great place to get your juices and smoothies from. They also have other items. Staff is super nice and versed in all matters of the menu.

They changed their hours and didn't change it on the app, it isn't on their door or online either it . The girl even called me at 3pm this afternoon because my order had to be modified. I went to pick my order and the place was closed. read more

Love they have organic options. Everyone is always super friendly. This time I ordered from the app. I was in a hurry. The site was easy to use, no issues there. I added extra strawberries and apples to the oatmeal. In the description it has strawberries, bananas, and almond butter. I was missing extra strawberries, bananas, and the almond butter. The smoothie was good. But the oatmeal fell short. Next time I'll have to check the order. Typically I have zero issues. read more

The Slushie One was good. Substitute coconut water for orange. Drink was good just pricey for me. I'm use to Smoothie King size cups and prices. 10oz was $5.30 but my son stated it was good for that price it found at least be a 20 oz cup. read more

Taking the review down from 4 stars to 2 stars due to my last several experiences at Clean Juice Southern Pines. The customer service has really gone down hill. The girl today was exceptionally rude and did not listen at all, messing up our order badly. Additionally, they were out of fresh fruit... and 16 ounce cups. So when we ordered a 16ounce drink, they just eyeballed it. I'm pretty sure we got about 10 ounces. I wish the owners would hire some nice and competent people. This crew they have now seem like parolees from the local high school's detention. read more

We visited Clean Juice after looking for a smoothie/smoothie bowl restaurant (we aren't from here). We weren't pleased for a couple of reasons: 1) the cashier was incredibly rude and seemed to have an attitude immediately. It was our first time in, so we had a couple of questions about the sizes and how the smoothie bowls were served, but she seemed annoyed that we were asking questions even though she said to let her know if we had any questions. ‍ 2) She let us know that they were out of fresh strawberries and bananas but had frozen. So I asked if I could have the frozen fruit on top of my smoothie bowl in place of the fresh fruit, to which she said no, it could only be blended in as a smoothie. Then I asked if they had peanut butter, and she acted like I had asked her to put her first born child in my smoothie. 3) I ended up ordering the same smoothie that my husband ordered (The Chocolate One), and mine tasted TOTALLY different from my husband's. It tasted like chocolate flavored dirt water. 4) it was way more expensive than it should be for 2 smoothies ($20), and that was after a discount. Overall, it wasn't a good experience, and despite the possibility that we might move to the area, we won't be returning to this location. read more

I have been a few times to this juice bar. I have tried several different smoothies, juices and açaí bowls. I had high hopes since this is really the only juice bar in town. The last two times I have come I've had a bad experience. The smoothie I ordered had little to no flavor. The customer service is usually fine, but this last time my family and I waited at the register for awhile without even being acknowledged. The girls in there were busy chit chatting and telling each other stories. In turn, we just decided to leave. Probably won't ever be visiting this place again. read more
