I've never left a 1-star review in my life because I understand how hard it is to run a business--but this was a genuinely frustrating and disappointing experience. I scheduled CleanChamps for a carpet cleaning and move-out cleaning at a Memphis rental property on Saturday, June 28th. I flew in from out of state for the weekend specifically to get this work done before we completed repairs, painting, and walkthroughs with new tenants. The day before the appointment, I received a call asking to reschedule due to a personal emergency with the cleaner. I agreed, and they came on Friday instead. While not ideal, I was flexible and appreciated that they could still come. They arrived Friday 15 minutes late. I explained what needed to be cleaned--including the carpets and walls--and assumed that a "move-out cleaning" would include baseboards, windows, doors, walls, cabinets, etc. My partner and I left them to clean while we ran errands. When we returned later that evening, it was clear the job was not done thoroughly. Dirt remained on walls, baseboards and windows were untouched, and cabinets and drawers were still dirty. We ended up having to finish the cleaning ourselves--on top of the repairs and painting we were already doing--adding unnecessary stress and time pressure. I contacted Kevin the very next morning, explaining the issue and asking for a resolution. He offered a re-clean but said refunds were not possible. Unfortunately, a re-clean was not an option--we were leaving Memphis the next day, and the job was time-sensitive. I followed up again after returning home, trying to schedule a partial re-clean for what was missed. I received no response. When I finally spoke with someone by phone, I was told that a re-clean must be scheduled within 72 hours--something that was never communicated via text or during our earlier conversation. When I brought this up, Kevin said he would talk to his manager, then abruptly hung up. At no point before booking was I made aware that they don't offer refunds or that re-cleans must occur within 72 hours. This policy is buried in the Terms of Service at the bottom of their website--not in any booking email, on their homepage, or in any place a reasonable customer would expect to see it. That's not transparency, and it's not good customer service. I booked their service over the phone and was never shown, sent, or asked to acknowledge their Terms of Service. As such, I had no reasonable way to know about the no-refund or 72-hour re-clean policies. Burying those in a website footer does not constitute informed consent or transparent business practice. Ultimately, we paid $640 for incomplete work, had to finish the job ourselves, and were refused a refund or meaningful follow-up. This created significant stress and wasted our time. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. Totally unorganized, used dirty rags to clean glass and mirrors and was so slow they didn't even get to vacuuming. Gave them one more chance with a new person that never showed and the appt coordinator never bothered to call me back to tell me. DO NOT USE! read more

DO NOT USE....I REPEAT, DO NOT USE.... If I could give zero stars I would. My appointment was scheduled at 10:00 a.m. At 3 pm, I spoke to the owner that told me that his best cleaning lady had been in an accident and that he was going to send someone else. 2 ladies arrived at 7:00 pm (many calls to the business between 3 and 7 with no answer) With cleaning products from the Dollar Tree, no broom, no mop, no step ladder.......my order was for a Deep cleaning that included removing trash, cleaning stove, ceiling fans, base board, sweeping, mopping, cleaning closets, bathroom....making the home 'move in ready' is what the owner quoted to me. No ceiling fans were cleaned, no stove was cleaned, no wiping baseboards...mostly complaints from the ladies as they were trying to figure out how much I paid versus what the company was paying them. The 2 ladies stayed for 2 hours, complaining the whole time about getting home to take care of their children. The ladies drove 40 minutes to the location and stated they had never had to clean a whole house....even though this is what the owner charged me for and did not deliver. I assisted with cleaning....actually because of the long wait from 10:00 AM TO 7:00 PM, I had already started cleaning because I was working on a tight schedule...which was stated to the owner and he assured me that I would be very happy, well I was not. I tried calling him several times with no answer...I sent a text message telling to him how disappointed I was and that the house was not 'move-in ready' as he (CleanChamps) stated. I wil never recommend this company to anyone. $500.00 for move in ready and they only thing that was cleaned was the bathrooms and the 2 ladies removed the bags of trash that I prepared before they arrived. i paid for a deep/ move out clean. $450. the first cleaner barely cleaned anything. walls and furniture dusty still(after some repair work was done on the place) kitchen cabinets not wiped out, and dust still on the ceiling. I called and told I wasn't happy with the work. They sent a second cleaner out. she said she was going to get her supplies and never came back. the place is not filthy, just dusty from repairs. I called again and was told they would let me know why the Second Lady left. 3 days later no response and my card was charged $450. I asked for a refund and all I got was excuses and an unprofessional response. I was also told they would only refund $50 even though the place was far from deep cleaned.... barely cleaned at all. Not a good experience. When I first called, I asked if they were local In Paris, Tennessee since I wanted to support a local business, they said yes, they were located in Paris. Now I find they are located in Jackson, not local. I was very specific as to what I wanted, brand new house, completely empty that nobody has lived in yet. I requested all walls be wiped down, all fans & light fixtures cleaned, all floors cleaned for dust, etc. I found they are a referral service & do not actually have employees, everything is subcontracted out. The cleaner showed up, I showed her a couple of things, I then left. 3 hours later, she left the house. Went to check on it & was astounded at what they think is clean. Walls were haphazardly wiped down, still dusty in sections. None of the fans or lights were touched, brand new kitchen sink was a mess, every mirror & window were smeared with sections missed. Top of the refrigerator was still covered in dust, I wiped my hand across the floors & they were still very dusty. Opened a finished closet under the stairs, she never opened the door & it was never cleaned or swept. When I called to request that she return & finish the job, I was told it would cost another $100.00 for a higher priced service. After speaking with the owner, he sent her back out the following morning for no additional charge. She arrived promptly at 9 am & left exactly 24 minutes later. She wiped down a couple of things but did not clean floors, lights etc. Even after supplying the owner with pics the previous day, it was still not corrected. I consider this 350.00 wasted, absolutely no value to this service. Needless to say, we will not be returning. read more

Originally scheduled an apartment cleaning and two days later I was still waiting. I heard ever excuse and lie possible for crew not showing up after 3 rescheduling. I have never before experienced what I went through with this organization. I was told originally they had cleaning crews in Memphis but found out later that crews come from Martin, TN. and other areas outside of Memphis. They obviously, from my experience, don't have dependable crews or personnel to support their cleaning services. I would not waste time with them ---- find a reputable cleaning service locally (and there are many to select from). read more

I needed them to clean my house to get ready to sell it. They came on a Monday and we were taking pictures the flowing day. the house had nothing in it so they did not have to worry about any furniture. The did the worse job ever. They was still dust on every window seal , cabinets and kitchen were not clean, especially for you Lazy Susan one we had still had nasty food all over it the inside of the dishwasher had not been touched at all still dirty be. The floor still need to be swept which I did myself. Streaks all over the refrigerator. I talked to Kevin the owner and I told him how I was. I did not want them to touch my house again because I was so so mad. so we came conclusion that they were going to send two more cleaners out and I would get half my money back. Well, it's now been a week now and I have not seen any money nor will they answer the phone or return any of my phone calls. I would not use this company at all.
