We went back and forth a bit and I told them that I should have read things more carefully. In the end, they Zelled me back some money to make up for those few things. They responded very quickly, to my initial request for an appointment and to the billing inquiry. The communications were professional. I will probably hire them again and request the same house cleaner. She joined the team just 2 weeks ago, but has 14+ years of experience. Gave a 20% cash tip plus my hydrogen peroxide cleaner so she had a Clorox alternative for future use. I sure got lucky - she was wonderful.

There was visible dust on multiple blinds still, dust on a couple of light fixtures, coffee table bottom area extremely dusty, a few baseboards not dusted, etc... The business reached out to see how the service went and they were on it immediately to fix it. BCE started out strong with great deep cleans and fantastic regular service, following their service guidelines to the letter. But after 1 year, 3 years and 5 years, everything began to decline as evidenced by the photos, and numerous other reviews on inconsistency. As of this writing, BCE prides itself on being a "contractless company". They have a Terms and Conditions PDF posted on a Google Drive link that again, as of this writing is unavailable as a public link on their website. To be clear, they never referenced, made available, provided, emailed, texted or otherwise sent us this Terms and Conditions until 2024 yet they will argue they "do", "did", with all customers regardless of how mismanaged the process is. They collect no signature evidence, no confirmation, nothing. So first warning to everyone, "You are REGULARLY INVITING A ROTATING DOOR OF INCONSISTENT PEOPLE INTO YOUR HOME to clean around your most precious valuables and belongings without any contract in place. They will be around your post-it notes with passwords, credit cards, bank statements, digital information, jewelry, ... all of it WITHOUT any kind of contract or legal paperwork." In what world is anybody ok with this? HUGE HUGE mistake I made. Do not make the same. Here is the list of the most recent problems we had in the last 6 months that BCE flatly ignored and opted not to address. (See attached images of our email communications). 1. Regular cleaning was outlined in writing to include 2 Maids and a regular leader. This hasn't happened in years. 1 Maid is sent. 2. Trash has not been emptied in bathrooms and by the office desks. (Pictures available to BCE) 3. Trash has been left in recycle bin vs. trash bin. 4. Trash cans have been returned to different locations around the house. 5. Rugs have been left upside down. 6. Rugs have been left in different locations around the house. 7. Dirty sheets have been left in the room 50% of the time vs. taking to the laundry room by other staff. 8. We have had our exterior deck door left open 3 times, causing our air conditioning to run excessively all afternoon and letting bugs in. 9. Inconsistent staff. A revolving door of new staff with no familiarity with our home. 10. Countertops in the kitchen are Marble. I had instructed BCE when these went in to use a product suitable for marble and that stopped. 11. Being charged $30 for a skipped fee when we are not living in the home is not ok. $30 skip fee when we are living in the home, is ok. 12. Shower continues to not be cleaned for mildew after speaking 2x to BCE on this. 13. Bedroom pillows are different for his and her side. Cleaners disregard this and always put the pillows on the wrong sides of the bed. 14. Bed made incorrectly, flannel sheets left on bed. 15. Oven, has not been done in months. BCE guidelines outline differently. 16. We had an instance of lady I've never seen before, show up at our house on a day that cleaning was not scheduled. My daughter was sleeping, and heard someone in the house. She called us, panicked, and nearly called the police. Turns out, it was one of your cleaners who went to the wrong house and scared her terribly. Instead of listening to these concerns, BCE terminated our contract upon receipt of this list. They took the position that due to the pandemic (3 years ago) they suspended in-home visits. (Yet they send their staff here every two weeks?) What a joke. They refused to send a representative on-site to meet with us and discuss the concerns. Instead, they flatly terminated our contract (See Pictures) and implied in subsequent emails to me that we, as customers, but them under duress with these "demands" to change their business practices. Interesting.. I thought I was just asking you to follow your own published practices? I highly recommend anybody questioning them look at these pictures. Stay Away. Stay Away. Stay Away.
