Whoever wrote that Clayton School District in New Jersey was an outstanding school is out of their mind. I work there for 3 years and what I've seen is unbelievable. The nurses office has mold spores growing on the floor. The superintendent actually sent out an email to teachers telling them if they have a black student that needs extra help not to write it up because he doesn't want to have the deal with their parents. The facilities director doesn't have a clue of what he's doing. I was there for 3 years and only had one review. He actually brought in a paper for us to sign and I asked him what it was for and he said it was for a test that I was supposed to take but he took it for me. They have seven approved board custodian subs, and there is never a custodian substitute available. The work is put on the permanent custodians and they aren't given any extra money. So what actually happens to that extra money? The morale in the school is the worst I've ever seen. Maintenance does nothing but sit in an office all day long. Instead of replacing ceiling tiles they spray paint them so you can't see the mold. The superintendent the facilities director should be ashamed of themselves. I could go on forever but I'm so glad I'm not there anymore. read more
