Her teacher Ms.Chrismarie is amazing, she comes home knowing something new every week. My daughter is so happy to go to daycare everyday, she walks in like she owns the place. She loves every teacher from every class and needs to make sure she says hello to them all every morning and good bye to them every night. It is stress relieving to know she is in good hands there and they all treat her like family. I have had some rocky experiences with other facilities and I 100% recommended this place!

They are caring, considerate, and there to help with any concerns. My son had a speech issue before starting school, and because of the staff working with him, he has overcome it. I would recommend Bright Beginnings to anyone who is looking for a daycare for their little ones!

My dearest, only child (two years old) attends this day care. When I drop her off in the morning…read moreit feels great not to worry about whether or not she is receiving the best in care. My husband and I are new to the area and prior to us relocating, I spent weeks searching for a day care that would provide proper care in a caring, hygienic and learning-focused environment. I drove about two hours round trip to visit four day care facilities in the area and called numerous more inquiring. Just asking around, three people in the area, two from the local school district, and another, an educator in the area, mentioned Jumpstart Academy and how this facility was the best in the area. When I went to Jumpstart, I was greeted by Caitlin and Mary at the front desk who were extremely informative and professional. Although I was ready to sign up immediately, there was a waitlist!! I was devastated! I even sent my husband to visit and see if they had a new accommodation but to no avail! Other day care facilities I visited looked dirty and had old equipment. The classrooms were massive with tons of kids running amuck and having seemingly no organization. One facility smelled like pure urine as you entered the foyer! I left a down payment with a chain school in the area where there had been a waitlist that opened up. I wasn't entirely happy, but it was better than most. I made a last ditch effort and called and spoke with Suzanne before I took the plunge and filled out the paperwork for the other school. Suzanne, the owner, is exceedingly sweet and no doubt about it, she cares about not only her employees, but the children as well. Her manner put me at ease immediately. She was extremely accommodating and told me to come in because she would have availability for my dear daughter. My sweetheart has been with Jumpstart for 3 months. She is always happy to go "to school" in the morning. We have the option of viewing her classroom in real-time online during the day. We also have the option of paying for a lunch each day with yummy options each week such as pizza, french toast with sausage and grilled cheese! The teachers Julie, Sam and Val have treated my dear so well and they are always so willing to tell me about how my daughter's day went. I am eternally grateful to have "stumbled" on this facility online because I would have NEVER come across it otherwise because it is well hidden gem just beyond the railroad tracks! To sum up this review, I highly recommend Jumpstart Academy for the discerning, obsessive, highly-strung parent, like myself. This has been one of the best decisions we have made since we moved to the area!

We go a little out of our way to drop our kids off there, because there's just no other place like it near us. The staff is friendly and courteous. The building is very clean and has a great layout: classrooms for all ages, a multi-purpose room for play, and a computer room. They even have a couple different outside play areas. The owner, Suzanne, really makes you feel like family and she has established an amazing educational environment. The staff even helps toddlers with potty-training, which is invaluable. As for curriculum, they operate off of themes for different weeks and have related activities for the kids (even the babies) to do. I've received some of the most precious works of art from my boys because of the hard work and dedication of the staff. We just can't say enough about this place. First class, all of the way!!!

I first toured the Malvern School of Washington Township on a friend's recommendation. She…read moreselected the school after touring a number of preschools in the area and assured me that the Malvern School was the best. While I initially enrolled my then 2-year-old daughter due, in large part, to a friend's recommendation and the appeal of a NAEYC accreditation, those are not the reasons she is still there 2 years later. My daughter LOVES her teachers and I know, without a doubt, that they love her, too. They love her as an individual on her best and very worst days. When she is struggling to say goodbye in the morning, I know she has many welcoming arms to jump into in my absence. Her teachers and aids, not just those in her classroom, but all of them, know her and care about her. They have even expressed an interest in me as an individual and are so warm and supportive in the morning that it eases the tension of the morning rush. Additionally, as a teacher myself, I have been humbled by the quality of my daughter's lessons and the speed with which she is acquiring new information and skills. Her teachers challenge her with content I would have assumed was too advanced for a 4-year-old, but she loves it and thrives. I am certain that she would not be as academically prepared as she is now had she remained with a nanny. The social skills and increased rigor posed by a class of other children is something you cannot replicate in the home. I am SO glad I made the switch from in-home care to the Malvern School. Although we still have one more year there, I am already thinking about the day my daughter will graduate to kindergarten and the heartbreak we will both feel when our Malvern days end. I cannot recommend it enough.

From the owner: Founded in 1981, Atco Christian has been providing a preschool program for 2.5 to 6 year old…read morechildren in the South Jersey area for over 40 years. Our program is based on an ecumenical Christian curriculum and atmosphere, rooted in Biblical principles and ethics, which include daily prayer and Bible reading. Our curriculum centers on positive social skills. Teachers focus on facilitating social/emotional development, community responsibility, and personal interactions. Daily routines involve strengthening fine and gross motor skills, recognition of alphanumeric values, as well as the enrichments of art, science, and music. Christian values are introduced and reinforced with Bible stories and weekly visits from our Pastor. We believe learning also involves active firsthand experiences and that play is a child's natural way of learning. Center time allows the kids to make decisions and choices on their own. Our goal is for each child to experience that they are loved, valued, and mentally and spiritually nourished.

Supervision and Staying in the RoomDirect Supervision: Daycare staff must supervise children directly at all times, including during transitions and hallway walking. A child wandering out of a room unsupervised constitutes a serious licensing breach. I have continuously tried to work with the daycare to resolve the issue. They have forced me to sign an agreement which is a breech of law to supervise my child. they do not wish to work with me to resolve the issue, instead they are trying to switch responsibility to me the parent and have stated several times to me that there facility is not safe for my 2 year old child who has been attending there since he was 3 months old. I had a very disappointing experience with Children of America in Sicklerville. My 2.5-year-old…read moredaughter attended three days a week, and instead of receiving support, she was labeled unfairly. Staff (preschool teacher) suggested she was "tensing up around Black children," which was extremely upsetting and inappropriate. I had already informed them she is in the process of being evaluated for autism, yet that context was ignored. What made it worse was a staff member pointing out that she was "fine around the white child in the room," which felt insensitive and unprofessional. My daughter interacts well with adults of all backgrounds, including Black staff members, so this conclusion about her behavior felt inaccurate and concerning. Additionally, she was placed in a baby room without my knowledge, where I did not have camera access. I was not informed about this change, nor was I notified that she needed more diapers--they simply used a different brand without asking me. Overall, communication was poor, and I did not feel my child was understood, respected, or properly cared for. I would not recommend this location to other parents.
