He wanted to meet us to make sure that we're okay to live in his clients house. So many realtors just give you the code to get in; not taking the time. But I could be anybody going into that home. 2. He dredged through the snow, driving over a half hour, and cleared the stairs for us, putting down salts so we wouldn't slip. 3. It was his birthday! 4. If I did business the way they do business, I would be OUT of business! For the business owner DJ…read moreto YELL AT ME when I tried to call IN LOVE to report one of his employees poor methods of marketing, enough to anger me into writing this review and hanging up on him, takes a lot. I have a great heart for giving feedback when I see a problem. I taught a real estate class in the USC Marshall school of business and was in the top ten brokers selling real estate out of 1200 brokers nationwide in Los Angeles. I was online looking at properties last May. I received an unsolicited text from the owner, DJ and I didn't respond as I wasn't actively looking yet, just browsing. I received another two identical texts minutes apart from Anthony in February I responded to that text with the following : Hi. I'm looking for 10-20 acres With wells so I can be off grid. Several buildings on property is a plus. Workshop etc. I will be doing Airbnb rentals. Must be top quality view location for occasional rentals. I'm NOT afraid of fixers. If there's a lake on it, even better. I've got a water ski boat and toys. All the best Michelle If i was a new broker dialing for dollars, and I had received this response to my text, I would have been elated and immediately CALLED the person and sent them what they asked for. This is a potential $120,000-$200,000 commission ! But Anthony didn't respond. He completely ignored my text. I mean really? What's the point of sending out marketing texts if you don't respond? So I sent him a text saying that. See pics below of entire text thread. Anthony blamed me for him not doing his work! He said "I'm sorry I asked you for an email address to send you properties and never got one from you..." As a mother to two Eagle Scout sons and a daughter, always trying to help teach, I didn't appreciate him blaming me for him dropping the ball so I said "Are you one of those people who are ALWAYS busy but NOT crossing the finish line? " and he responded with "Right, just like you not giving me an email address (which I specifically asked for) to send you properties". Then he blew me off wishing me luck in my search. You can read the rest of the conversation in the texts. Bottom line is he got snotty and rude when I was trying to have a teaching moment. So I called his boss DJ. He picked up the phone but we were cut off. I called back and a woman answered and tried to help me and said DJ was on a call. I said he was on a call with me and it dropped. She tried again to help as I believe he didn't want to be bothered taking to me. DJ came on line, was DEFENSIVE when I explained what had happened, cut me off several times when I was explaining the situation, made COVID excuses, which frankly I'm just sick and tired of every business making these excuses for their failures!! When I learned DJ was the owner acting like that, I was appalled. I'm not woke. I won't be patronized, I refuse to accept rude treatment when someone has taken the time to BOTHER me asking for my business with SEVEN previous texts asking for my business then FINALLY when I want some attention, they are non responsive, rude and defensive! So basically DJ started yelling at me, made rude statements enough to anger myself, curse and hang up. So I ask you people out there considering doing business with this company. Is that a way you'd like to be treated? I won't be doing business with them and I hope you chose another firm as well.
