    Birthday party pottery decorating
    Carl S.

This is a great place for a creative party... Tons of different options to decorate and they fire the pottery for you and you pick up at a later date. The staff are very friendly and very helpful... My daughter had a birthday party and it was tons of fun, and in the end they got to make a piece of usable pottery. Great concept.

I've passed by here for years and never thought about going in. Wasn't until my gal and I were gifted a clay pottery lesson that I actually went in. Leigh is a patient teacher, good listener and great instructor. After an hour lesson we created clay pieces ready for the next step. Had so much fun getting my hands dirty on and with a purpose. There are many other creative modalities available as well.

We had an awesome family time. Some were a little Skeptical at first but we had a blast. My dad loved it he did the mermaid. Jennifer did the elephants for the baby & her. Her husband did the lion & his brother the owl. Myself was the fairy & I rushed it at the end but I hope it comes out like I wanted. The staff was awesome the gentleman helped my father & me with the eyes & lips which he did a great job. After I got my discount with yelp the price was well worth it but to be honest it was all well worth it. Without a doubt we would do it again. We celebrated our daughter's birthday 8 years ago this very time here in Brevard & now we got to celebrate the baby & her's again this year. 2020

I went to Claying Around because they were offering a two-for-one valentine's day special. I expected the place to be packed, but we called ahead and there was no wait. Upon entering the colorful space, we were greeted by a small pup. Love that. The space is large and they have a huge selection of pieces to choose from. HUGE. The man behind the counter immediately greeted us and was super helpful. He waited until we were all settled and then took us on a mini tour to explain everything. This isn't your ordinary paint-your-own-pottery place, at least not like the ones I had visited in the past. They also offer mosaics, glass fusion, silver clay, and pottery wheel classes. I decided to just do the painting for now, but I will definitely be back to try some of the other cool services they offer. As far as painting the pottery goes: There were so may color options, I think I spent a good 15 minutes selecting my paints; my mom took even longer. We spent a couple of hours painting, gabbing, etc. When we were done, the guy said our stuff would be ready in just a few days, and it was. I've been to some places that don't always have your finished pieces ready on time. But my experience here was great! The pieces looked fantastic and we all plan to go back very soon.

So much fun. As the parent I wanted to be included. Price is a bit on the higher end but it's worth the money.

Here,…read moreat Art Garden, the gallery manager was kind enough to give us a brochure and guide us with what there is to see to get the full experience of the area. Things you should know: I. PARKING There's a massive private parking lot outside the warehouse-style building. Available spaces are endless ~ You won't have a problem finding a space. II. SERVICE Accommodating and informative. They'll go out of their way to help you here. III. QUALITY Vast amount of selection of artwork on various mediums. I like this specific location because everything is up for purchase. So, it's not like you can just observe and move on ~ you can actually buy it if you want it.

The instant you walk through the door, it is obvious that this place was built on love and intention. The space is filled with art from floor to ceiling but doesn't feel cluttered. It kinda feels like a big, warm art hug when you walk through the doors. A lot of the art has a kind of "hippie/spiritual" vibe to it. The art filling the studio is colorful and expressive. They showcase multiple artists' work and have a few studios that you can walk through as well as the main gallery hall. When the weather starts warming up, they will be planing a garden and sculpture area outside as well. This outside area will be quite large, the same size as their indoor space. This is an amazing gallery and I already can't wait to go back!

The reason I'm not giving this a higher rating is because a lot of the art didn't grab us as much as in some of the other nearby galleries. In one place, the artists didn't even look up to acknowledge us when we entered and departed. Weird. It looks like pre-COVID, they also had events with live music here. This looks like a cool building, but all in all we enjoyed some of the nearby galleries better.
