I have been coming to Clayburn Dental for quite sometime, for well over a decade. I recomend GIGI to any new patients or for anyone looking to get their teeth cleaned throughly.scaled & polished. She is absolutely the Best dental hygenist at Clayburn Dental, and I have had several over the years here. Her bubbly, sweet and kind personality makes your experience a good one! GIGI is amazing and very professional and superb at her job! I recomend GIGI, she is absolutely top-tier! # 1 And sweet "Naomi" at the front desk is my absolutely my favorite as well, she should be recognized for her amazing job that she does at Reception. Naomi is very helpful and has great communication skills, and also very professional! (l think there is a few others in reception that could learn from Naomi and work on their skills) And she always is amazing on the telephone & greets me with a kind genuine smile when I walk in. Thank you, it's what keeps me coming back after all these years, is that Clayburn dental will also also honor & correct their mistakes. As I did have a poorly seated crown (with a gap) placed in mouth years back from a dentist that no longer works here. Clayburn Dental took care of that & just recently replaced my crown. And Donna thank you for the call back today, and agreeing I should have been offered some anesthetic getting a full mouth deep clean for scaling and root planing(SRT) I hope next time Iam offered this as it was very painful. And thank you for tips on gum care after my procedure yesterday! Much appreciated! read more

Everything was perfect. No pain, very professional. This will be my #1 dental place now. Canadian dental plan paid for most of it . Dr Sahi and assistant are the best ! read more

@Andrew P for being full of it. A perfect 5 star review between all 1 star. This is to bring the balance back to your fake review. Do your research. This dental place need to put patients care over profits. Fix the problem and not mask the issue. read more

Very unprofessional, the staff discriminated me in front of my son and when I spoke up about it they slammed the door on us and locked us outside. When I phoned to speak to the person in charge she wouldn't even listen to me and screamed over top of me and hung up. My son now says he hates the dentist and doesn't want to ever go back. read more

I've had a regular dentist for the past 9 years in Surrey who's great, but when I moved to East Abbotsford, I thought I ought to find a dentist closer to where I live. So I gave Clayburn Dental a try. I was concerned about a hole along the gum-line on my molar, very visible and easy to feel with my tongue. I thought maybe I'd lost a filling. The dentist, Dr. Ali Mustafa did an 'exam.' He got me to say "ahh" and tugged at the corners of my mouth. This was a transparent formality so they could bill my insurance provide for an exam that didn't take place. What a joke, we're talking well under 30 seconds here! During this so-called 'exam,' he didn't even notice the very visible hole in my tooth that ran the entire length of my gum-line! I pointed it out (sheesh) and he looked again, focusing on the tooth next to it, not the one with the OBVIOUS problem! At that point, I was actually scared to have these amateurs anywhere near my mouth. I said, "no, it's the one next to it." He barely glanced (no magnifying glass or mirror) and immediately said, "That's just discoloration from a filling." I said, "it's a hole! I can feel it." He completely dismissed me, and replied "if the esthetics bother you, I can cover it up." The esthetics on my molar? He wanted to simply cover over my decay. I called my dentist in Surrey and told them about this nightmare. The following week, I went there (well worth the drive) to see a real dentist who cares and knows what he's doing. He did a thorough exam, and concluded - no surprise - I'd lost a large filling, and the resulting hole needed to be filled immediately otherwise the vulnerable area would decay, which would result in a root canal. From what I could see, Clayburn dental is all hype and flashy swag. They churn patients through, and inflate costs to providers. For your own safety and well-being, go elsewhere!!! read more

This clinic has it all. Ignore people with baffling expectations. They do their best to treat you right and do a great job. Every time I go in the place is packed. That alone should tell you they are doing something right. Every time I have gone I have been seen at my appointment time and the hygienists were kind and gave me lots of feedback about my teeth. As for kids, I don't have any but there's always kids there waiting to be seen. Apparently there's the capacity to see a family of 6 all at once. Pretty remarkable. Give them a try, you won't regret it! read more

Went to Clayburn several times for general appointments or cleaning, they seemed fine. When I had a serious issue that had been caused by the lack of care given by their dentists I was treated absolutely terribly. Speaking with the office staff was the worst experience I've ever had with an office that considers themselves professionals. These Dr's and office staff could have killed me with their disregard for my health and lack of care. I was treated at the hospital by doctors and given emergency surgery, due to my rapidly worsening condition. read more

I have been going to Clayburn for 4 years now, nice office and everything but .... as a child I had a very bad experience and I made them aware of that, I have a real fear of the dentist. I have repeatedly told them this ... I told them I only go to the dentist when I call them but they CALL again and again, even though I told them I dont want the reminders, they are all about marketing and taking advantage of my group plan, they seem to want people in there as much as the plans will allow. I have very good hygiene and teeth, so Id ont need to be in there constantly. The receptiontionist I talked to today was VERY RUDE, I needed to reschedule my appointment due to a last minute call to be a work, I understand the 48 hour noticer thing but some things cant be predicted, she made me feel so bad, like I had broken the law. Definetly do not recommend this place!! read more

Terrible experience here. My family won't go there again. After we went there, we found that our previous dentist on Marshall Road is one of the best. Worst service from the reception. They never did what they promised. We are very very disappointed. read more

This dentist is incompetent in their work. I went in as an emergency patient because my dentist was on holidays. All she did was poked around in my mouth and told me if there was a crack, x-rays wouldn't be able to show it. Obviously she was too lazy to do any work and all she wanted was my money. I will never go back or recommend anyone to this dentist. read more

Well I was shocked with the service here it's a nice looking office with cool stuff like stress balls special drinks ect but took both my kids for a cleaning and was told both have 8 cavities I was in a state of disbelief as to how in the world would they both get 8 in a year? But they went ahead and did the cavities on my teen it was fully covered for my younger one they said they couldn't since she's 8 years old, wtf I thought they were good with kids? They said its to traumatizing I have to pay to see their children's dentist so the consult was $70 she was late my visit with her she was running between clients the whole time tried to make future plans for cosmetic work and for the 8 cavities she was charging $4500ish not covered Clayburn told me it would be about $200 that's a huge difference not to mention she didn't tell me the price it's when u go to book it they tally it up so I cancelled they still keep calling me to get it done I told them no I can't afford it and they still keep calling saying how important it is so I keep saying alright can your dentists fix it than being important and they say no. I keep telling them I can't afford it, don't they understand, needless to say guess what all that $4500 was for baby teeth that are ready to fall out! All I can say is don't trust them I don't think my kids even had 8 cavities each I think they do this scam quite abit and yes I think they are a scam preying on parents who they lie to and scare into paying insane amounts of money....I do not recommend read more

So unhappy with my experience with Clayburn Dental. Went in specifically to have my fixed wire retainer on my bottom teeth either re-glued or taken off (it had come off of my bottom teeth so I had at least an inch or more piece of wire loose and poking the inside of my mouth). Reception asked at the time of booking if I wanted a cleaning, as they had time that day also, I said sure as it had been 9 years since my last cleaning. When I arrived the hygienist said that since it had been so long they wouldn't be doing a cleaning but a full exam instead including x-rays. I figured that was ok because it had been so long since my last check-up. After the exam and x-rays I had a bill of $150 and they were ready to send me home without removing/fixing my wire. I was almost in tears and said that the ONLY reason I came in on a Sunday was to have the wire dealt with and that they couldn't send me home because it was stabbing into my tongue constantly. The hygienist spoke to the dentist and she agreed to remove it (for another $50 fee of course). So now we're up to $200. They also recommended two separate cleaning appointments as there was so much buildup on my teeth as it had been so long, AND recommended freezing each time due to some gum recession and sensitivity. So a total of $400 and two appointments for cleaning, then another $200 visit after 6 weeks to check my gums after the cleaning. They also quoted me around $400 to have a new wire put on my teeth by ortho (including lab fees for a new wire, which wasn't necessary as my wire was fine it had jus come unglued). Needless to say, I did not return. I went to another dental office and they did full scaling of my teeth, WITHOUT freezing as there was no discomfort whatsoever, and the entire appointment including scaling, waiting for the dentist, and exam took less than an hour and a half, costing $130. I will NEVER go back to Clayburn Dental and will definitely steer any friends away. read more
