The project was removing 480 square feet of an old concrete driveway. He generated a quote quickly that felt fair for the equipment and people he needed (required a small wildcat). He was response at every stage of the process, from initial outreach, to day-of work, to post-project payment. His team was respectful, brought their own port-a-potty, and left the job site very clean (even saw them blowing dust off places far beyond the job site). In short, this is a responsive and thorough team and I couldn't recommend the more.

And of course with hot tubs you need to worry about capping the gas and other utilities before any demo. Thiago and his crew has proven time and again that they are the hardest-working, most efficient,…read moreand most reasonably priced among all demolition and hauling contractors. I initially received bids from 4 different demo & hauling contractors, and A & M's team asked the right questions and showed they already had expertise and experience. Their pricing was also very competitive so I selected them. I have now gone back to Thiago for 6 or 7 other follow-up jobs and every time, him and his crew were always responsive, honest, hardworking, and they have always finished the job with the best quality and within the time frame promised. Thiago and his guys are my Go-To crew for any future demo and hauling jobs. They are all super honest and they have done an excellent job for me time and again. Often, if I see them working their butts off and sweating profusely, I would buy them pizza and/or Gatorade just to make sure I take care of them. I think that's the least we can do as customers - to take great care of the guys who bring the muscle and the physical labor, and we need to take excellent care of them. I now worry with my highest rating and excellent review, along with the hundreds of other reviews from other clients, that they would be so busy and they would likely have no more time for me and my future jobs. In any event, this review is way overdue since I have worked with A & M for almost a year now. Thiago and his crew deserve every bit of praise possible and they are all awesome guys. You would be so lucky to have this group of guys to work on your projects.

Hadn't seen him when I was searching for reviewers, but he responded to an…read moread I posted looking for someone to lug an old arcade machine out of the bowels of my garage. Time, moisture, and spiders had rusted the machine into a 900 pound hunk of tetanus and decay, and a lot of the movers I contacted wanted outrageous prices even to try to pick it up. The bolts were stripped and the wheels were cracked, so the machine couldn't be rolled or broken down - only sheer force could drag it out of its garagey lair. Mauricio quoted me a price LESS THAN HALF of the closest competitor, showed up bang of time, and, with only one guy helping him, lifted the machine like it was made of paper. He had it down the driveway and into his truck in less than ten minutes, and this is the very same machine that took three guys almost an hour to untruck and schlep into the garage in the first place. It was amazing - if you told me that Mauricio's hobby is running marathons with a piano strapped to his back, I'd believe you. One last note. Having dealt with a lot of sketchy moving men in the past - guys just out of jail with gang tattoos on their face, guys obviously on meth, and one guy who saw my cat and told me he used to eat cats back in Cambodia - I can't tell you how relieved I was to meet Mauricio. He's such a friendly, professional dude, and as reliable as it gets. I will definitely contact him first for any hauling jobs from now on. If you need a hauler, snap him up now before the rest of Yelp gets wind of him!
