We listen to you, we talk with you about your dreams for a healthy smile, and we learn about your lifestyle before we create an individualized treatment plan. Once we have created the plan, we will go over it with you, talking about the options and how each works. We believe it is vital you have the information needed to make the decisions about which options are truly right for you. History
Established in 1985.
Smile Construction Orthodontics was founded in 1985 by Gary D. Cohen, DDS and is now owned and operated by Clayton M. Fulks, DMD. We serve Hendersonville, Gallatin, White House and surrounding communities.
Meet the Business Owner: Clayton F.
Dr. Fulks graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from the University of Georgia. He furthered his education in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he graduated in the top three of his class and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Fulks completed his dental education with a three-year residency in orthodontics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Fulks is a member of the Tennessee Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Nashville Dental Society, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He is also a Co-director of the Summit Institute, an interdisciplinary dental study club founded by Dr. Gary Cohen and dedicated to optimizing dental care in Sumner County.
