I started calling around trying to get him in to see someone right away. I know her schedule was packed for the next few weeks but she literally would get my son in everyday on her lunch hour to follow up with his eye. after a few weeks under her care, she went on vacation and left us with her co/worker - Mr. Hassan - who is just as smart and kind. we feel so grateful to have stumbled upon this office , filled with a staff of very smart , kind , helpful - caring doctors & staff. At the end of my visit, I was charged an exuberant amount for a contact eye evaluation of $85 and paid an overwhelming $150 out the door with what I went in for. The fact that I wasn't actually going to be covered for the contact evaluation was not told to me and that I would still have to pay an additional $35 for a co-payment which normally should cover exam fees was also not explained to me. I don't beleive the front dest staff did a good job at all with this matter which made my overall visit very displeasing. Again, the eye doctor was great . I just feel front desk staff should not provide misinformation and put in more effort to explain costs to patients prior to services being rendered.
