Really experienced and super nice. 4/5 stars because i was told by one supervisor the student would be "right with me" and then had no update and waited for 40 minutes. Only got any attention once another student called over a different supervisor. I understand it's a school so they don't want to rush anything, but would've preferred to have someone tell me at check in the previous appointment was running late. They did give me a discount though so still overall a good experience.

I've been going to the training institute for years and have mainly been really pleased -…read more understanding that students are learning and some are slower and not as good as others. However, just recently, several of my appointments have started at least 30 minutes late with no explanation, when I can sometimes see the students and instructors chatting away. Parking is only for 2 hours, so this adds to the stress. My appointment for a "simple root touchup" is always over 2 hours. I'm never asked if I'm satisfied, like they do with the skin care part, they should! And the professionalism (by some) and communication seems to have gone down. I've been left in a chair for some 20 mins for no explainable reason when my hair was no where near done or color even mixed. The volume inside seems to increasingly go up. Younger students? "Better" sound system? Less instructors? It just seems to be a chaotic environment. I've wanted to tell this to someone in person but the front desk was busy. (Not a complaint on that part. This is a business after all...) Disappointed. I'm coming back for one last try.

I had a virtual admissions appointment scheduled with the admissions representative. I had…read morepreviously rescheduled once because I had another appointment that I had completely forgotten about, which was entirely my mistake. For my second appointment, I honestly didn't realize I would be expected to have my camera on. I wasn't told ahead of time that it was required, and in my past virtual meetings with other colleges or any other virtual appointments, it had never been an issue. Unfortunately, I happened to be in the middle of dyeing my hair and had a face mask on, so I was embarrassed to turn my camera on. I apologized multiple times and took full responsibility for not being prepared. Instead of feeling understood, I felt like the conversation became focused on why I wasn't turning my camera on. The admissions representative repeatedly said she was uncomfortable because my camera was off and continued bringing up that I had already rescheduled once. It made me feel like I was being judged or viewed with suspicion rather than treated as a prospective student. When I explained that I was simply embarrassed about how I looked, I didn't feel like my explanation was acknowledged. I asked if we could reschedule, and although she said she would message me to set up another appointment, I never received any follow-up. This interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and very unwelcome. I understand professionalism goes both ways, and I accept responsibility for not being camera-ready. However, I also believe there could have been more understanding and empathy in handling the situation. As someone genuinely interested in the school, this first impression has unfortunately made me reconsider attending.

Went home and my family started to laugh on how crocked the back and there were high and lows. Overall bad haircut, not worth it.

(Spa services review)…read more I'm generally a fan of visiting the Euro Institute for spa services and depending on what you're after, is a flip-flop between here and the Evergreen Beauty College that's about ten minutes away. Here, while it's also a beauty school, has placed an emphasis on building the ambiance that many professional spa services build for clientele. There's the nature-themed furniture and plants in the lobby (maybe from Marshall's or Homegoods), quiet sounds of waves and bells in the spa area, dimmed artificial lights, good air circulation, lots of natural light coming in from the second floor, and overall just a quiet, inclusive-feeling environment. There's also the option to do the spa treatments with a wrap. When you're led to the restroom to do so, there's three restroom stalls and a larger open area to change and put your items in an open cubby. It would've been nice to have something like shower stalls to change in for privacy instead of choosing between taking a restroom stall or changing in the open. The amount of machines, devices, and spa treatment materials used was worth the price. For one of the facial treatments I got, there were LED light treatments, masks, eye coverings, steam towels, steam treatment, arm and facial massages, toner, and other services included for under $60. Both times I went, the students were well-accommodating and balanced between asking questions and keeping the quiet ambiance. There are some features I'd appreciate if they were implemented like online scheduling (can only be done through the phone or in-person), spacing out the spa tables more/having less of them (students easily bumped into other machines or had to navigate around things because of how cramped it was), and the private changing stalls as noted above. Overall, a really nice and more affordable way to treat yourselves or others as a gift. Driving in and out can be a challenge because it's situated next to a busy, major intersection.

Keep in mind that they are students performing the services which means they can't receive tips by credit card. I made that mistake and didn't bring cash. Will know better by next time!
