When it came to time to get prices & go ahead with a new kitchen I got 4 different quotes. 3 custom & 1 more standard. I was very insisted on what I wanted. I had planned it for 2 years. First of all Davis & Park were the only ones to offer advice & suggestions when they saw flaws in my design. Others said, ok we can make it work but never stated the REALITY of the problems if we went ahead with our own design. Lloyd came & helped design what has been the most perfect kitchen for me. I have chronic back issues & rheumatoid so this was taken into consideration as I aged & issue would worsen. Then there was Rachel who helped with choosing profiles, drawers, cupboards & the extra information needed for the kitchen to look fantastic as well as function great. Now for the Installation!!! WOW.......... Starting from Tim who measured to perfection then Bill & team who actually installed the kitchen over several days, I have nothing but absolute High Praise for these guys. They really know what they are doing & just got on with it....nothing was too much trouble....I realised a few things that I'd chosen with height etc were wrong & they adjusted them with a smile & a no problem attitude!! They treated myself, husband & our home with such respect!! If only all tradesmen were like Bill & men! Thank you everyone involved, start to FABULOUS finish. We are so grateful for what is a dream kitchen. PS. We also got them to make & install a television unit which was to be built into a recessed fireplace. They made it again to perfection. Again thank you for a flawless renovation. A very old house comes with difficulties when you start a Reno but you guys work around each challenge. By the way. We got prices from some big well known companies. Australia wide with great reputations. This company was the most expensive but I knew from the first meeting that they were the company for me.

We built and took ownership of our new home last October. We went to Bob Burns Blinds to curtain…read moreand blind our whole house because they were local and South Australian and had a good reputation. We received excellent support and service in selecting our blinds, curtains and security doors. Two thirds of the curtains and blinds were made and installed within a month and the quality is excellent. The curtains look stunning. Our builder had promised to finish our doors and rear windows within a couple of months of handover and sadly nearly one year on we are still trying to get them to finish the job. We are hopeful it will be finished in the next couple of weeks. In the meanwhile we have vision blinds ready and waiting to be installed and we have had to put a hold on our security doors too because of the problems. BBB have patiently stored our blinds and waited to finish the job we paid for. They have regularly followed up with us about progress too. All staff from the customer support team to the measurers and installers have been super friendly and helpful too. At this point we can't fault BBB and would thoroughly recommend them to all. They're not the cheapest around but not the dearest either. The quality of their products and customer service totally justifies the expense. Thanks BBB for a great job so far. We hope to get the last bits done shortly.

(I am not sure what was check measured as I checked the diagram when it came time for installation and it was clearly wrong.) 7 weeks later, time for the installation and the problems begin. Take a Friday arvo off work - "The installer will be there at 2pm," we were told. We call at 3.45pm and were told, "he will be 15 minutes." The installer arrived at 6.40pm. We are having a 4 panel verticle drape installed in the living room. The panels were the wrong size by over 100mm. The installer advised that he would need to take them back in the morning to have them resized. We call at 11.00am the next morning and no one knows anything about this. I was advised, "Normally we would not call you, we would judt try to fix it." I requested a call on Monday - No Call. We call back on Tuesday and advised the service girl will call us straigh back - No Call. We call on Thursday and were told they will check and call us back - No Call. We get a call on friday to say the installer will be back Saturday. He comes back and puts the panels in. He Opens the packet for the Pelmet - No Tracks. The installers advises he will get and drop back one day the following week to put in. Wednesday, we call again - "He will be there thursday after work" - No Show - No Call. Friday - I call and are advised that she will check into it. She Promises a call back in 15-20 minutes - No Call. Monday - We SMS the installer and he says he will come that night. To confirm, I call the office and ask to speak to the manager. After being on hold for 5 minutes, I am told the manager is away and the office manager can call me back. I decline saying no one has called back yet, I wish to speak to her now. After a great deal of attitude, I am transferred. I relay the above story. A call is promised back where an appology for lack of communication is offered with annoyance over the fact we have contacted the installer ourselves. So apparently, tonight is the big night where this whole ordeal may finally be over. I recommend you find a different company if service is something you value.

Helped me choose a suitable carpet at a reasonable price, and arranged for it to be installed within the time-frame I needed. The two chaps who came to lay the carpet were very good at what they do. The room looks amazing with the new carpet. McLeay's office staff, showroom staff and installers were all great to deal with. I have no hesitation in giving McLeays a five star review.

They don't usually do installation but in this case they did for me. They provided the cheapest quote out of three others I saw ($1100 less! ). There is no sales pitch or attitude that you often get from well known flooring companies like carpet court. Michael the owner is straight up. There was a bit of a hick up with the installer, but he made sure it got done and even helped out himself. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I'm really happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone.

A couple of years ago I started researching replacing them. I went to the chain carpet places, and all the floor places on Magill Road. Most of these places recommended Engineered timber boards, but having been disappointed by laminate I wasn't so certain. True these stores had a range of solid timber, but wow was it pricey, over $200 sq m laid in some quotes. Then one day the lovely "Mr Bracegirdle" from the chocolate cafe, told me all about the floors in his shop and the contact # of his installer. This tradie highly recommended European floors. The showroom is wonderful, the range of timbers extensive and the staff both knowledgeable and helpful. I picked a timber unavailable at the other stores which was extremely competitively priced, they stored it for free for 4 months, arranged reasonably priced delivery. Now this process isn't for people with OCD, I've have 60sq being laid and it will take over a week, but it's looking fantastic and will last for a very long time
