I would give Oriel and his Showreels group the highest recommdation and rating in any category…read more that could be rated. From a professional standpoint, Oriel was ordered and organized, started with the initial consultation/discussion, covered all areas from scene selection, to partners, to how, where, and when the scene should be shot. His communication was continuous throughout and he was totally accessible. From a technical standpoint, I could not have been more impressed. From the moment he arrived on the set, Oriel and his team knew exactly what they wanted to do and went about their business of set up logically and efficiently. As far as directing the scene itself, I was taken aback at Oriel's attention to every detail: from lighting, to shooting angles, to sound -and he had no qualms about shooting the scene, or parts of the scene, as many times as required until he was satisfied with its quality. This is a man who clearly takes pride in his work. Finally, and most important to me, his patience, complete accessibility, and willingness to teach and explain any facet of the production process - even if not directly related to the specific scene we were shooting , was simply wonderful. I enjoyed working with him and his team tremendously, learned a tremendous amount, and look forward to working with Showreels again.

Especially since we knew we would be running around and the time would pass by really fast. So we searched all over for photographer/videographers. We saw a sample of Spike's work through a friend's friend and contacted him right away. He was really responsive and transparent. We asked for samples of his work and he delivered. We asked for meetings, he met with us. He had been great throughout. We are an interracial couple so on the wedding day, we did ceremonies from both sides on ONE day. They worked non-stop that day and we really appreciated that. We had a really packed agenda for the ceremonies and the reception. Spike and his team were really patient and kind to everyone. He was also really funny because we're not the best with poses. Because it was wedding season, we didn't get our pictures until a month after but it was okay! We loved the highlight video, the full video, and all the pictures that were taken. We would definitely recommend him to whoever is searching for a photographer/videographer.

I loved the style of his photography from my initial research, and when we did go to meet him he was just so professional, courteous, and friendly! His team is also awesome and everyone is very responsive! I also really loved that he had a lot of experience working in our venue, the Harold Pratt House, and thus knew his way around the place and where all the best shots would be. He was also super helpful during the planning process, and recommended vendors to me (many of which I ended up booking with lovely results!) and was also instrumental in creating a timeline and keeping us on schedule during the day of. We booked our engagement shoot with him as well and of course loved how the photos came out. I really appreciated how he guided us through posing and gave specific tips as I definitely feel like I typically look awkward in photos, but he also took more natural moving shots as well, and he really listened to any requests we had. During the actual day, we really loved how well he and his team communicated with us and both of our families, which included some older Korean adults, and they were really friendly with the little ones too :) We got our preview pictures on his blog quite soon after the wedding and they are just gorgeous!! We also got our wedding video preview and it was also amazing!! We are so excited to get the rest of our pictures and we are definitely recommending him to all of our friends in the future. Photography is honestly one of if not THE most important aspects of your wedding day and Chung and his team are the absolute best!
