I love this place!! I never have an issue and they are very flexible…read more Jaira always takes care of me and makes sure I leave satisfied. Ladies if you need a spot to go to this is where to go. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to ADELA for a SIMPLE BLOWOUT and…read morewalked out with more than half of my luscious curly hair GONE and chemical burns all over my scalp. All of this happened within a matter of minutes. YES minutes. I didn't make it past the washing before storming out of the salon with my hair dripping wet. It wasn't until I got home and took a shower that I realized she shampooed my hair with BLEACH because my eyes were on FIRE. I had never seen ADELA before, but she reassured me that she could work with my hair type, which WAS thick and curly. Little did I know, this woman would take vengeance upon my scalp. As she scrubbed my hair with pounds of shampoo (my hair was clean mind you) she dug her nasty fingernails into my scalp even after I made it very clear that she was hurting me. My once luscious, black, bouncy curls are now thin, frayed, and dry. My ends are red and my overall head is a light brown with blonde wire streaks. NOT TO MENTION THE CHEMICAL BURNS induced by BLEACH being rigorously scrubbed against my scalp and HAIRLINE. Who knows if my hair will grow back since she killed it at the roots, but one thing is for sure--GOD was on my side when I stood up and left with wet sopping hair. Never even got the blowout, but I'm sure ADELA would have loved to finish the job with hair pulling and hot ironing tools. One piece of advice, NEVER trust a stranger with your hair and ALWAYS follow your instincts when you feel something isn't right. Getting your hair done should never be painful.

My first time here is wasnt the greatest as my first appt was not with HEATHER. HEATHER has been absolutely amazing. I started coming here because I have very sensitive skin, with waxing and using their products. My skin has done a complete 180. No product line(s) has given me the results I have now by going to HESTHER. HEATHER always makes me feel comfortable as I have some of the most sensitive areas waxed. What is great is that HEATHER is also quick but thorough, great for time and the pain is minimized. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING IN AND SEEING HEATHER, definitely get the packages and SAVE money. Their packages are reasonably priced as you dont have to pay for them all at once. Usually it spread out evenly over 4 months. BUT YOU HAVE TO SEE HEATHER!!!!! I rate her, on of 1 to 10 scale, a 20!!!! Very accommodating, listens very well, and station is always super CLEAN!!!!!

Its been a while since I gotten a massage and decided to treat myself. I did however find a Groupon…read morefor Sandys Facial and Wellness. It was a great deal. When I first got there , they had asked me to go to the bathroom and wash my hands. Then showed me my room where they asked me to relax and lay down with the sheet over me. The lady who came in was very nice and asked me for permission before she did anything which I thought was very respectful. She continued to do so throughout the massage which I liked. I felt that they massage wasn't what I was expecting , it was mostly just rubbing on my back , I was hoping for more pressure. Overall the staff was nice, the place was very clean, and It was relaxing. I don't think id come out of my way too come back but if I had another Groupon with a good price id try it again and maybe ask for more pressure.

I visited this spa with my daughter after purchasing a Groupon deal for a facial and massage priced…read moreat $79. I scheduled the appointment by phone and paid in advance. Upon arrival at 9:30 a.m., two staff members escorted us to begin the massage services. Shortly after the massage began, the therapists offered several "enhancements," including lavender oil, lemon oil, and hot stones, priced at $30, "discounted" to $20. In my experience, massage oil has always been included as part of the service, so I found it unusual and disruptive to be upsold during a relaxation treatment. During the facial portion, the esthetician asked when I last received a facial. After I responded, she immediately recommended a "derma facial" due to dryness, priced at $100, discounted to $50. She then pointed out dark spots and suggested laser treatment at $20 per spot, which I declined. The continuous upselling made the experience feel more like a sales pitch than a spa visit. At checkout, I was surprised to learn that I owed an additional $96, on top of the $180 already paid. I was also not informed that a third staff member would be performing part of the facial service. When it came time to tip, I provided $20 each for the 3 therapists ($60 total). I was then told that the staff member who worked on my daughter should receive an additional tip, so I added $15 more. While I do not mind paying for services, I strongly believe that all pricing, add‑ons, and staffing details should be clearly explained before the service begins. Transparency is essential, especially in a spa environment where clients expect relaxation rather than unexpected charges or persistent upselling.

I highly recommend this spa and laser center. Having a doctor perform the laser hair removal…read moreprovides a sense of relief, and Dr. Chandra is careful, thorough, kind, and professional. The center has a nice parking lot and is located on the first floor closest to the side facing Stelton Road. The waiting room is usually empty or has one other person waiting for another staff member -- there are no long waits like at other doctor's offices. They really mean it when they say they reserve your appointment time just for you. I never have problems getting appointments either. If you're nervous or shy about your condition, you will find the peacefulness of the spa and professionalism of the staff very comforting. Before your first procedure, Dr. Chandra will spend time going over what needs to be done and answering questions. The hair removal does hurt, but it's over before you know it. How your body reacts to the procedure is different for everyone, but I usually had some swelling. (I have brown skin and black hair.) ***So a tip: run errands before the day of your appointment. That way you wont run out of food or other home supplies while you take a few days to heal. The first procedure reduced my hair growth probably 75%, so I had the most swelling after that first session (the swelling lasted 7 to 10 days). On subsequent appointments (every four weeks), my swelling usually lasted only a few days since there was less hair getting zapped. By my fourth session, I would say 90% of the hair was gone. My skin is smooth and the color now looks even. I am so happy with the results so far, and I have a few more sessions to go.

They deleted my Google review... so here it is again:…read more I had a very negative experience at this laser hair removal med spa and ultimately decided to stop going. During one of my sessions, I was severely burned in a specific area, which was very painful. The injury made me lose trust in the amount of safety I had during treatments. I am unsure still why it occurred because I was told that the puss open wound, was due to a hair that was ingrown and became infected... which I quickly learned was not what was going on. In addition, I felt uncomfortable with the staffing of technicians situation. While many other females worked there, there was only one laser technician available, and he was male. He performs Brazilian laser hair removal on female clients, but when I checked the website after a few treatments and curiosity, did not offer the same service to male clients, which in hindsight sight felt unprofessional and inappropriate to me being that if a female wants a Brazilian, she has no choice but to have a male technician. An hour before my appointments, I applied numbing cream on my bikini line and my entire Brazilian area with plastic wrap over the areas. At the beginning of my appointment, he wiped my numbing cream off from my Brazilian area very invasively without even asking if I was okay with that or giving me the option if I could wipe it myself before the lasering. The reason could be so he removes all of the product off completely before lasering, but with ONLY a male tech available and as a female patient who is basically blindfolded being touched in that vulnerable way, I should have 100% been given more options for my comfort. I was asked to remove my bra while wearing a medical gown that opens in the front. The laser treatment was only for my underarms, and the area was fully accessible through the sides/sleeves of the gown. There was no medical reason for me to remove my bra. As a result, my chest was exposed, which made me feel very uncomfortable and vulnerable. This situation felt completely unnecessary, and it could have been easily avoided. Between the physical injury and the discomfort surrounding the treatment environment, I chose not to return again. I would strongly encourage others considering this spa to think about your comfortability levels when getting vulnerable areas lasered by a male technician, to ask detailed questions about safety protocols, and how client comfort is prioritized before making an appointment.
