THE ODDS ARE AGAINST the apex storybook discovery tales of rarities like JLAW, Michele Pfeiffer, Charlize Theron etc. so if you expect that to be your way in...it's not reality. I get cast and work in these markets: NYC (Netflix movies), Atlanta (Marvel/ABC), and Mid-Atlantic (Apple TV). I am new to the business (three years in) but I have been building a resume over time and there is no way I am going to compromise because I take my career seriously. There is no slack given in a highly competitive industry with a dearth of roles and a surplus of talent. SO...if you want to crack the code, get seen, get call backs, get booked then there is no better photographer for any amount of money than BK Rose and Kat is my Queen. There were a set number of pictures we could choose from those 90, and then an additional fee for other ones we wanted, but the best part is that she signed a release for us to own the negatives and mailed us the photos on a disc, so now we can print them for $0.11 each at Walgreens! She was friendly and professional, and the pictures look good. She did send us an extra disc with the ones we had selected with some photoshopping, but it was mainly color effects, like sepia and black and white, rather than cleaning up tan lines or stray hairs, which would have been nice. Still, an awesome deal and she's done lots of kinds of photos, from maternity to kids to author photos, etc.

We had a small,…read moreintimate ceremony with our closest family and friends in the Spring Valley Nature Park in Schaumburg, IL. Conrad was our photographer and he knocked it out of the park! For months before the wedding, their whole team was professional and quick with responding to any questions I had. They were transparent and well-organized. We had two phone meetings to meet with Conrad before the big day. Even before the wedding, Conrad was so sweet and eager to shoot our Medieval wedding. When an illness came up, they were easily able to shift their coverage to make sure we still had two photographers and a videographer for the full time, which was a huge relief.
