Marvin Turner…read moredid not respond to our offer in a timely manner (5days) & when he did respond we were told that he had another offer which we were unaware that Marvin was accepting other offers. We were told that we need to give our best offer which is what we did with our initial offer. It is apparent that Marvin Turner wanted to start a bidding war or Marvin Turner does not want African Americans in this property. This is a dishonest practice for a real estate agent and/or discrimination. Marvin Turner will not respond to us.

April Hix from Classic Homes Realty was our realtor and also spent time helping other family members with questions about the local area and businesses. We started looking for a home in Danville before we left our own home on the other side of the country. For starters April walked me through Facebook so that she could show me properties on her phone as she walked through and answered questions. Every time I sit down to write this I end up with a short story and not a review. Each home is different with unique issues and that is one of the many reasons you need someone with April's experience, integrity and perseverance. We found our dream home and things got complicated. April Hix was not only our realtor but had to coordinate the bank, the owners, the owners realtor and/or lawyer and the neighbors because it turned out there was an issue with the property line. April knows people in the area. Reputable businesses that were needed (several) to untangle the issue and get it moving forward and keep it moving forward. I believe we are sitting here now in our dream home because of April Hix holding our hands and managing all of the different people that were needed. April is a 5 star realtor and an amazing person. I hope she knows how grateful we are too her for all she did for us.
