We have been taking all of our family cars here for over a year. Unfortunately since our last…read moredealings with them this month (August 2015) we will no longer be bringing any of our cars to them and we highly recommend you also do not bring your cars here. I took my car there for a problem with the AC, when I went to pick it up the dashboard was completely ruined . I haven't figured out how to add pictures to these reviews, but if I figure it out I will post pictures here. It looks like dr Frankenstein got a hold of my car. Around all the AC vents and the main CD player etc the vinyl is peeled off and looks like someone tried to pry it off with a screwdriver or something! So I asked Tristan at the time of pickup what happened to the dashboard. He said "oh yeah, I knew that would be a concern. Whenever we move anything on the dashboard the vinyl peels off like that". So if you knew the work you were going to do would trash my car, I would have appreciated a heads up, that would have been the professional thing to do, but as long as the AC was fixed I could swallow the cosmetic damage, even though now if I ever want to sell this car I have to take at least $1000 off the selling price because of this. So I'm driving home (and I'm 39 weeks pregnant), and the car stops working - it jams up and cannot recognize the electronic key for some reason. So with the AC, my husband who is an electrical engineer felt it might be a shorted circuit from the way it was acting. He told them that when we dropped the car off. They said 'no no, its the blower motor, we checked all the circuitry and its fine'. Then they replace the blower motor and guess what? The AC doesn't work. You know what it ended up being? A short circuit in the motherboard. :-O yeah...I know. But it took them days to figure that out, and apparently they had to break open my dashboard to discover this, though mulitple others i have spoken to and shown the car to have said they did not need to break the dashboard to fix this. And somehow in the process of fixing that....they screwed up something electrical in my car. So in the end, we took it back to them to fix this new problem. And they told us 'don't worry, we will also do what we can to fix the cosmetic damage in your car'. Ok, I feel a little better, though nervous about leaving my car there again. We don't hear anything from them....a week goes by, so we call them. Trinh says "the car is ready". So my husband asks 'were you able to fix the vinyl'. He says 'i haven't looked inside the car'. .....WHAT?! it's been there for a week and you haven't even looked inside it???? So we get there to pick it up and the finale to this disaster is they deny they caused the damage to the vinyl. Trinh says " the car was like that when we got it".......even though they told me they are the ones who caused the damage when I came to pick up my car the first time!!! Unbelievable. Look elsewhere for a mechanic. The mechanics who work there have changed and they are not as skilled as the ones who used to be there. And the worst of it, they are not trustworthy.

We called to make the appointment and spoke with Morgan, who was very friendly and got us in the same day. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and told us up front what we were looking at spending and what needed repairs. What blew me away was that he told us what DIDN'T need to be repaired also. I don't think I've ever heard a mechanic shop say this EVER. He was totally honest and let us know that most places will tell you that you need to fix X, Y, & Z, but that he's more concerned about keeping his clients by being honest than to get rich off of them. We asked about our 30k mile tune up that's coming due and he's actually the cheapest we've ever been quoted for! During our tune up, we sat in a very cozy waiting area with a TV(and remote that we had control over!), a fridge with water, and a keurig machine with an assortment of coffees. While waiting, a sales rep selling motor oil came in and tried to sell him on a more expensive oil that he could make more money off of, and he turned them down because it will cost his clients more than necessary in the long run. Over all it took about 45 minutes from the time we walked in until we were handed back our keys. Unlike most mechanic shops, we didn't leave feeling like we had been taken. We left excited to tell everyone about our new find!

My experience with Wrench Twisters started like most classic "Girl Meets Auto Repair Shop" stories…read moredo... with a Groupon. I purchased this deal for an oil change, tire rotation, and 26 point safety inspection. I called to see when they were open and a super friendly voice belonging to a Mechanical angel named Morgan answered. I made an appointment to get my oil changed and when I made the drive across town (Because I live in Winter Garden) I was not expecting anything beyond what I have experienced at any other Mechanic. If there is a waiting room it normally consists of a hot room with a small fan, a couple of folding chairs, and coffee that's so old it has started its own ecosystem growing in the pot. That was not the case here. It was more like a small living room in one of those "My 600 sq-ft homes" from Ikea. Nice, comfy chairs, fridge full of water, instant coffee maker with all the fixin's and a flat screen TV with cable to pass the time while Morgan and his mechanic are out in the hot garage being angels. As I sat there peacefully watching TCM he came in periodically updating me on my car and asking me questions about it. He did bring me out to show me that one of my tires was about to blow and he wanted to put my spare on so I wouldn't die on the way home. I was embarrassed about the state of my car and all the crap I had in so I offered to help dig out the spare and they were so nonjudgmental on the outside, even though they probably were on the inside but I cant blame them because I judge myself daily. I did give them a case of vintage coke as a thank you and that's one less thing in my car. In the end he gave me an estimate of the things I needed to get fixed but didn't pressure me into buying them right then and there since I'm poorer than a church mouse at the moment but once I do have the money I will be back to get those things fixed because I have never felt more at home in an auto shop. Thank you, Wrench Twisters.
