After last mat was in I politely said I was about to back up. He followed me to my car door as I was getting in, got in my face and said 'don't be a smartass, don't you think I would have noticed you backing up and moved?' I said no, you were looking down at your phone and standing behind my vehicle. He threw a couple more insults my way for who knows what reason, then pretended to go tidy the hose and the vacuum (which I already made sure was tucked away nicely). On a good day it still sucks as the wash boys constantly spray other people's mud and dirt into your bay as you're washing, and it splashes up on your car so then you have to rewash. Quite the racket as it prolongs your time in the bay.and forget about just paying for the time you're in there, when you go inside to pay if there's a lineup you're basically forced to wait and scan your card once the yokels finish buying their smokes and lottery tickets. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Had been going there for the better part of 25 years but forget it, Peter Golf and his underlings can %#% &$$

I reported the incident immediately and was eventually told by the owner that it was basically a freak occurrence and not the fault of the carwash. He went on to say that the glass blew out the same way a lightbulb can blow up when you turn it on... WTF?!!! Needless to say he refused to compensate me for damages, which total $144 (because it's a Porsche and they're always an expensive vehicle to fix), so I'm taking this to small claims court in a week if he doesn't agree to reimbursing me for the damage. UPDATE - I had a lawyer friend write a letter to Petro Canada Corporate office to ask for a reimbursement and they basically ignored it. I WILL NEVER BUY SO MUCH AS AN ENERGY DRINK FROM ANOTHER PETRO CANADA FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE! I take comfort in the fact that this particular location was robbed at gunpoint about a week later. Any sense of self-preoccupation vanishes upon stepping inside and walking atop the beautiful tiled floor. This specific location is one which none remember ever having been erected, lending to the popular belief that it has always been. A simple gas bar and extension of a familiar chain or a temple built by the gods themselves? My memory of the occasion is blurred by the sheer ecstasy, but I seem to recall buying a Maynards Juicy Squirts from Chetan, a shiny wonder-man. When he asked "Is this everything?" I may have answered in the affirmative, but it is truly a riddle which will impose itself upon my mind forever. None who step inside, shall never be the same again.

Usually employees, especially the young ladies are efficient and helpful. But this odd fellow immediately babbled on witlessly. It was quite astounding to be treated to this immature performance. In midst of his nattering about customers using rinsing cycles ,( Off topic) I said I AM NEVER COMING BACK HERE ! He should have come over to #7 to check the duration like any other employee would have done. Argumentative and ignorant, he needs basic training in social skills. He is ruining your business ! A long way to drive to experience this psychodrama. If I come back there it will be to take a photo of this narrow character to show management. New in town, not sure where to go next ?? Have been to better Spiffy at Confed Park but it is a long distance destination too. Maybe someone will write in with a good suggestion.

Horrible, absolutely horrible!! This is the first time I've…read moreever gone to a business and left thinking, "I need to tell as many people as I can to avoid this place". But after my experience here, I only hope that I can save someone from the horrible service that carbuffs has to offer. I had my vehicle scheduled in for a detailing and shampoo (cost $155). I was told on the phone to bring it in for an 8:00 appointment so upon arriving at 7:50 I was a little surprised that no one was there to greet me. I was far more surprised though that at 8:10 there still wasn't anybody there to greet me! Not a good start, but I still had faith in them . . . . I asked when they expected to have it done by and the employee estimated around 2:30ish I hadn't heard any word on my vehicle by 4:30 so I called to check on its status. They informed me that it still wasn't done but that they'd have it done by close. At 5:45 while I was on my way to pick it up, they called to let me know it still wasn't done but that they'd have it done by noon the next day. No problem, I can still roll with all of this. The next day I called to see if it was done at 12, they say yes. I go to pick up my car at 1:00, it's not done!! - "Come back in an hour". I'm not impressed at this point but I still have faith that when I finally do pick up my car and calmly explain my experience to them they'll maybe throw in a free air freshner or knock $10 off the price. So when I come back to finally get my car at 1:30 I do just that, explain my experience. The response I got was "It's a process that can't be rushed so they can't do anything about it" (They did however offer a discount if I paid with cash - Anybody out there work for CRA?) The problem was that the process was clearly rushed because when I got my car back, it came with wet seats, wet mats that were hastily thrown in the trunk (not installed as they should have been) , and windows that were streakier then when I brought it in. A week after the fact I was left with a vehicle that because it wasn't properly dried smelled like a bag of wet rags and had to take it to a separate car washing service to get the job done properly. All around I was completely shocked at how much they didn't care about the inconveniences that they caused me at every turn and more so at the terrible job that they did. Save yourself the money and headache and DO NOT GO TO CARBUFFS, it is a joke of an operation!
