I am utterly displeased with Barbara Redding, David Kline and the other associates at Classic Accounting. Their tardy and unprofessional handling of my business account has caused me financial loss and severe distress. Firstly, I have had to pay the IRS close to $6,000.00 in penalties for various infractions such as non-filing of taxes and late filing of taxes for 2022 and 2023 (Barbara Redding is yet to provide any evidence that she filed my taxes or that she filed for a timely extension for 2023 because I had been adamant that I would not pay any more penalties for late filing). This is in addition to a failure to register my company as an S-Corp. David Kline (listed as a consultant and not a CPA) could also not provide any evidence of registration when I confronted him with the letter the IRS had written me notifying me that my business was not recognized as an S-Corp. I had to register anew with my current accountants. Furthermore, they have never treated me with courtesy. They have a habit of ignoring my emails. I never felt like they were treating my account as a priority. Despite having my business card with all my information on it, they have, in multiple forms, misspelled both my name as well as my business name leading to lengthy administrative issues with the IRS. Finally, they have shown no empathy to me for the distress and financial loss they have caused me leading me to explore legal means of redress for the failure of Classic Accounting to live up to their duties and responsibilities to me. They have employed bush-league tactics to avoid accountability. I wish I could post a zero star. I would not recommend their services at all. read more

Seems I am not the only who has had horrible service from Dave. I contacted Dave to see if he could do my company and personal taxes and explained what I needed. I sent him over documents through email and than he ghosted me and wasted time for me to file my company taxes. Seeing all the negative reviews, I think its better he didnt touch my taxes....Stay away read more

Horrible service , Dave Cline gave fraudulent/ false information on my W2 & therefore I cannot get my tax return this was back in 2021 contacted him to get a letter that the IRS is requesting from him & its been an absolute nightmare and impossible to get that from him. he told me to drop by the office on a certain day & that he would have it ready , I went and there was no letter and he wasn't in the office , i try to call him the ladies only say they will give him my message but he does not contact me back... everyone save your time & do not go to Dave Cline im sure they are doing some type of fraud this is NOT the first time that this happens I've known of about 8 other people I worked with that had the same situation with their W2. From false information to a completely different social security on W2! I reported them to the IRS. read more

Disappointing. All was well until we were audited, then any follow up and support were non existent.

Made a mistake on my 80 year old mothers taxes and refused to take responsibility for the mistake, blamed the mistake on her, refused to work with her to rectify the mistake, and actually sent a letter for her to sign saying she was at fault. A mistake that could cause her THOUSANDS of dollars. Very unethical business. I would NOT recommend their services. Hoping she files a complain with the BBB and also posts a review here and on FB so that her friends know to avoid this business. read more
