Hudgens offers a great variety of artist's works in many different formats. Those artists who contribute a great amount of work to the center even have their own sections dedicated to their works. Although I am not too big on "art galleries," I did find the Hudgens center to be somewhat interestingly captivating. Some of the paintings actually made me hallucinate just looking at them, because of the vivid trance causing design the artist created. I really liked the metal sculpture outside the building created by Rita Blitt named "The Passionate Gesture Retrospective Exhibition."

I recently purchased a machine elsewhere and was unable to get my questions answered by the staff where I had purchased it. The lovely ladies at Discover Sewing were kind enough to talk time to assist and educate me on the proper use of my new machine, especially the aspects of it in which I'd be utilizing most of all. I am so very grateful for their kindness and willingness to share their knowledge so that I could get everything out of my machine that I need.

I have an older machine, and they taught me how to upgrade it so I can use some of the newer features. They also helped steer me away from some bad investments, since I could upgrade my old machine for free, and do some of the same things I wanted on the new machines. The threader and cutter are giving me challenges that I know I shouldn't have to go through for a new machine. I just started sewing on my Allegro, but the threads have been breaking after so many stitches. I would love to have in person training for babyLock as there is for the Berninas. They only seem to care about the customer until they get your money. I purchased a machine in March…read moreof last year and it was in the shop more than I had it. They finally sent it back to the manufacturer for repair. After more than three months I finally got it back the third time and it was fixed but they insist that there was nothing wrong with the machine. The problem was that I was using it wrong. I have to use my left foot to operate it instead of my right foot. If this was the case, which I do not believe is the case, they should have been able to tell me this when I returned it the first time. They just don't want to take responsibility for the frustration and inconvenience I have suffered over the last year. After paying almost $8000 for a machine, I expected more from them.

Boy, how I wish I had someone like Joshua present at my first blood donation. Real talk. If I had,…read moreit wouldn't have taken me an entire year for my second donation. This young man made an experience that can be daunting at times uplifting. Joshua greeted me with open arms, was very professional during the preparation stage for my blood donation, and he made sure the entire process was a success. We need more American Red Cross health professionals like Joshua to ease any anxiety donors, especially first time donors, may have regarding donating blood or platelets.
