Great prices and unique items! This location rocks... it certainly is more organized and aesthetic than its RVA sister stores! The merchandising here is beautifully done! There are many antiques dispersed among the reproductions! I loved all the garden arches, the cement statues, the wrought iron, the metal outdoor benches (especially the mermaid one!), and the floral décor! I bought a bunch of pink hydrangeas that look perfect in my home! My friend bought a cool chair, and we both got a shabby chic metal quilt ladder. We also both purchased the Kantha quilts, which were plentiful and colorful with gorgeous patterns. They were $35 each, but you can find them cheaper on Etsy or Amazon. I also found some vintage toleware and artsy greeting cards. Go early because it gets crowded in the afternoon. Plenty of parking! Bottom Line: Lots of vintage, antique and reclaimed project pieces. I think Class and Trash is the perfect place for a creative DIYer to shop. They have a variety of furniture, home decor and odds and ends that are in rough shape but priced fairly. With creativity and TLC so many of the pieces at Class and Trash can be Pinterest worthy. This is a large store and there is a lot to look at. Among my favorite items were a vintage garden gate, a wooden croquet set and heavily worn bingo cards. read more

Don't let the name fool you - this place is a huge store of hidden treasures. Not only are there interesting pieces of furniture, nick nacks and other decor, but there is some local art as well. I enjoyed spending some time looking around and admiring all the wares. The staff was friendly and helpful without being pushy. The prices were reasonable as well. read more

I hadn't anticipated that my trip to OBX would involve a thrift store adventure, but it did, and boy was I giddy when I found some great ones. This is one of my top five: 1. this place 2. Outer Banks Quilts & Antiques 3. A Penny Saved Thrift & Consignment 4. It's All Good Vintage Goodies & Furniture 5. B&B Antiques This was the sixth thrift store I visited that finally made me do a happy dance. Now this is something to write home about. The space is pretty big and organized like a furniture store setup. However, there is no salesperson on your tail, so you can peruse without pressure. The atmosphere is very laid back. The title of the store is BRILLIANT - please don't let the "Trash" part of the title discourage you. Everything in the store is worth looking at - from simple things like empty coke and 7up bottles to wood dressers and dining tables. There always seems to be just another sumthin sumthin waiting for you around the corner. What's nice too is that they will place sellable items like dishes in china cabinets, but somehow you just know it's okay to open those cabinets so you can take a closer look. In addition to getting a fun adventure and being able to touch the merchandise, the prices are so reasonable. I found a well-made wooden 4-chest dresser for only $85. Seriously? I also found a yellow vanity chair (with a small stain I could easily overlook) for $69. If I lived closer, I would have bought them in a heart beat. Instead, I left broken-hearted. Fabulous little shop that now appears to be permanently closed. So sad. We purchased many unique gifts and decorating pieces.

Cool stuff. Great selection. Definitely is on the pricier side. But if you like cool Finds and willing to pay for the finished product it's a cool place to browse, explore, and treasure find. read more

Even if your not going to purchase something at this thrift store you will feel inspired. They have a second store off 95 in Richmond. You really wont feel as if your in a thrift store. On the big sign outside it says "thrift". This is NOT a thrift store. The store sells brand new items and antiques. If you are looking to spend a cheap buck on used items, this store is NOT it. The items inside are very nice but more on the expensive side. It's a nice store but misleading and not what I was looking for. read more

Funky architectural salvage, re-purposed salvage & vintage furniture. What's the saying about another person's trash? It is fun to walk around and see things that were put in the garbage bin brought back to life. I think nothing adds character to a home more than a beautiful vintage door or stained glass window. I love the unique vintage finds here and always get inspired by something and end up adding a one-of-a-kind conversation piece to my home. read more

This is one of the best "thrift" stores I've ever been to. I use quotations because it's so different from the typical thrift store. It's not junky, it's well organized, and it's clear that every piece was thoughtfully collected. They have all sorts of items including furniture; crates, baskets, & bins; marquee letters; vintage signs; tandem bicycles; hardware; salvaged doors & window frames; and much more! More on the trash side these days. Sadly this place has gone down hill over the past few years. Was once a favorite destination. Today I could hardly get through the clutter. Difficult to walk around because things were just thrown all over. Nothing was organized or displayed (like it once was). Most items are mass produced knock off copies of vintage items. The original items are lacking. The bathroom and water fountain also have not been maintained- both displaying masking tape "out of order" signs. Talk about classy. read more

This place was a disappointment. There's a lot of thrift shop filler items in here marked up to be sold as "curiosities," but it's just typical Goodwill inventory. There's also a lot of imitation antiques clearly made by a "backyard woodsmith" with poor materials and methods. I'd be fine with that if the prices were fair but not $200-$300 for something that wont last very long. Buyer beware. read more

Will never shop here again. I used to browse this place every week or so. Finally found a piece I liked. Was loading my car (without them asking if I needed help or a friendly smile and thanks for the business) and was attacked and snatched the item out of my hands because I was sold the item under different terms than he had in his head. There was a more professional way to handle that situation Sir. Maybe a "Oh, IM SORRY I thought you wanted X which is what I thought I agreed on. Would you like the other piece for X as well?" Instead of charging at me and ripping the item out of my hands like I was going to run away with it and demanding giving me a return. RUDE RUDE RUDE. Someone needs customer service 101. What a fun store! A big selection of both antiques and "vintage" items of all kinds, from an English saddle to some Fisher Price toys from the 1960's. Good prices too. What I liked is that the items are arranged neatly with space to walk around. And the place is clean, I wasn't sneezing as I do in some antique shops. Definitely going back there on my next visit to the OBX. read more
